A pleasant village pub with a good range of basic food. Had Sunday roast which was cooked well with crispy but not undercooked veg. They were happy to provide a smaller portion for a smaller appetite too.

This is a lovely village pub and resturant. Lots of outside tables to chill out on after a hard day's work or have a family meeting or meal. It nice to meet the owner as this was my first visit. Lots of parking as well..

We took a walk along the footpaths through the fields and stopped for a drink. A lucky coincidence there is live Jazz on the first Sunday of the month. I think starting at 5pm. We had a lovely time. If you go just for the music, I'd check first in case that changes! Also, food on Sunday is 12-4pm only. It's improved since the last time I went a year or 2 back.

Went here a week ago for a family birthday Sunday lunch. Lovely friendly welcome from the moment we stepped in the door. Friendly casual atmosphere in the olde worlde bar and restaurant area. We all had a sunday roast and it was delicious, served hot, quickly and with a smile. Although my brother did say he would have liked one more roast potato! Plenty for me, just right. The waitress said next time you come just ask for an extra one, it's not a problem! Fair enough I thought. We all had desert and they were scrumptious. In fact it was a really tricky task choosing which to have. Our drinks were all served at the table so no getting up and down to replenish our glasses. To finish, tea and coffee all round. A really pleasant visit, won't hesitate to return or recommend.

The White Horse have an excellent room attached to the Pub with plenty of space for a buffet with seats and ample standing area. The buffet was well presented for our Funeral Wake. The Buffet food was plentiful and good quality with tea and coffee on tap. All the items were beautifully labelled with a wide choice to cater for all tastes. The bar is at easy reach with tables and seating areas scattered around the bar making the area perfect for socialising. Lovely atmosphere and the staff are very helpful and polite. Highly recommended for any events

1st visit, had a look around , I don't know the history of the establishment, we received a bit of info of what goes on during the year. Stage area outside in the large garden a bit of a car park. Opening times over Yuletide season is on the wall. Smoking area with a heater, nice touch. Pleasant visit thank you. Food is served here and also roast on a Sunday

Enjoyed my lunch there. Nice old village pub with friendly staff and service was nice and quick. Food was good quality and I enjoyed my fish pie with nicely cooked vegetables. Dog friendly and a nice beer garden at the back and some tables out the front overlooking the green - perfect for a warm sunny day. Will definitely visit again.

My family and I visited this pub after a recommendation from the local farm shop. All the food is locally sourced and prepared perfectly. Our party had a range of food from the menu and every plate looked and tasted amazing. The staff were very friendly and attenitive. The pub also have a wide range of drinks to suit any customer. I would highly recommend a visit to this fine establishment.

After a difficult transition a few years ago (they had a tough act to follow) Tom and Jade have done well in making the White Horse once again a true part of this village's life. The atmosphere is friendly, the food is good and reasonably priced, and the beer is well kept. I recommend it!

We had a few drinks on a Sunday but found the barmaid a bit stuffy. A nice pub landlord and staff are pleasant usually. Only food I tried were some nachos and they were nice.

Delicious sunday roast, served up to 6pm - good to know when running late 😊 olde worlde historic pub. Lovely beer garden, always been a little more upscale than your normal pub which makes it a bit special to visit for an occasion; not cheap but not mega expensive either
