Lovely bank holiday pub lunch. Husband had cottage pie with lovely fresh veg. I went for the ploughman’s. I need gluten free and finding out the lady in the kitchen also needed gluten free put my mind at rest. Will definitely be going back, great menu, good beer . Real pub .

This is again a proper country local thanks to Kenny, Jason & their families. A Fuller's owned small pub with four cask ale pumps - three Ales from the Brewery and a Guest - all very well kept. Recommended.

As an update, glad to say that normal service has resumed with a change of staff and very happy to report that the beer (Pride) was up to standard when we visited today, glad to say this is still our local. We’ve been coming here for years and always had good beer (love a good pint of London Pride) but recently the beer has been poor and the bar service just rude. I keep trying to come back as it’s our local, but giving up now. Completely different experience at the Cross Keys, with great beer and professional staff

Had a lovely Sunday Roast here. Went with a vegetarian who had the nut roast with veggie gravy and all the trimmings. 4 different roast dinners for meat eaters. The Pork had beautiful cracking. Great value for money. Worth the drive. Quaint English pub with car parking and beer garden. Children friendly.

I went and stayed with my Best Mate Carly, and we went there for a few drinks.. Never sat inside a sthe weather was too good.. We ordered drinks, sat in the beer garden, and just watched the world go by... I found the drinks to be a reasonable price.. I was drinking Archers n Cokes (double shots😱) BUT never got drunk.. As we were sitting in the garden, I spied a beautiful old car..so took a sneeky pic... The people are so friendly, everyone said, "hello, Good morning, Good bye".. Etc.. I'm going back on a few weeks time to visit my friend, so we will DEF be going to this pub again

Yesterday we had Sunday lunch here with our family. Four adults and two youngsters under 5. The staff were really helpful and service quick. It also has a very large garden and a bouncy castle there today. Highly recommended. As one of our local pubs we will be going again.

First beer after lockdown. Sunny's unday, table booking only, with table service in a big garden area. Try the Dark Star IPA.
