A lovely visit as part of a private booking and prior to having a tour of the Jim Clark museum.
Really friendly staff and quick efficient service. We enjoyed the soup of day with delicious fresh bread.
The pricing is very reasonable and the dessert selection looked incredible.
There are washroom facilities and they accept cashless payments.
We hope to visit again
Warm welcome and the place to be after visiting the Jim Clark Museum.
The food is really good, prices are reasonnable and the team is great.
Used to be called Hugo's and we popped in from time to time for coffees and tray bakes. The cafe has been slightly face lifted and the food service and quality is just as good. I had the club sandwich for lunch, all very fresh. It filled me for the rest of the day!
Excellent sausages, nicely presented and served. My wife enjoyed her filo tart. Nice selection of cakes. Very good value.
Nice cafe/bistro. Staff very engaged with customers. Good service.
Lunchtime sandwiches with salad, very filling.
Do be aware that the Cafe/Bistro is situated in the square in Duns, a five minute easy walk from the actual Jim Clark museum.
Really friendly staff, excellent sweet treats, lovely coffee and a very warm and relaxing atmosphere. Great little find and great to see coffee made properly and not from a push button machine.
Great find, best scones in town! A must if your in the area. Love it, an will defo be back 👍
Beautiful sunny day, sat outside with a coffee listening to auld petrol heads talking all things classic racing cars. Went back later for evening meal. Great atmosphere, great food and great service. 👍
Having been to the museum you have to go to the Cafe Bistro, (although other eateries are available). Lovely staff serving light lunches with a Scottish twist in a very pleasant cafe. All part of the same trust as the museum so felt like we were contributing in a small way. Reasonable prices and quality produce, just what we were looking for. Plenty of parking in the centre of town.
Excellent cafe, good food slightly expensive but it supports a good cause to keep the museum going as part of the trust
