My wife and I visited for lunch. We had a selection of the small plates and found them to be lovely. I have only awarded three stars for atmosphere as it was lunchtime and very quiet. The waitress/barmaid was very nice and friendly.

Stop for a bite to eat whilst travelling South. Staff could not be more helpful. Clean, tidy pub. Loads of reserved tables, so turn up early. The burger was Devine. The gammon steak was a proper juicy one. If in the area again will most definitely pop in.
Love what the new owners have done with the place. There is a contemporary feel to the decor, spacious and relaxing lighting. We only had a hot drink, but the drinks selection was extensive and the smell of food as it passed was very tempting!
Dropped in today on an exploration of local area I am moving to soon. We went for selection of small plates, chips and then mega puddings, all delicious. Fabby new menu which needs more investigation so we will be back. Staff were lovely and friendly, service good. Not sure heavy metal music was appropriate for Sunday lunch but wasn't intrusive. Looking forward to spending time with you guys. Sorry forgot to take photos. 😅
Very quiet had to reorder as no gammon steak but fish and chips were lovely as was the icecream

Service was great and food was decent too. Prices are reasonable.. I was quite surprised. It looks so much better than it did before! Will definitely visit more often!

Lovely staff, and under new management. Great beer and a good atmosphere in the place. Plus, regular good live music and a brilliant wee juke box 🤘🤘
