If you are on holiday and you are in the Halbeath, Fife area you have to stop at Armando's Fish and Chips.
The food Is excellent and extremely delicious, the breading Is extremely crunchy and not oily ,the service is fast and staff are very welcoming. Cost Is the best in this area.
First time visiting Admando’s Fish Bar. Definitely worth the trip. Tasty fish, chips and sausage with a decent buttered bread roll.
Busy on a Thursday evening, which says a lot about the quality of the food. Cash only, for those who don’t usually carry any.

Excellent prices. Good food. Friendly staff. Can be a wait as food tends to be cooked fresh while you wait.
Take out only, cash only. Very good food, standard chippy menu, very crispy batter. Staff are polite, but the fact they cook to order means your food will be very fresh but when they're busy the queueing time becomes ridiculous. Bring a book as having 10 people in front of you means it will probably be around 45 minutes to get served - I wish I was joking!
Best fish & chip bar in Dunfermline, the Brig doesn't even compare. Been here twice over the past 10 days whilst visiting family, delicious food, hot and great value for money. Fish supper was huge and the sausage supper amazing, well done Armondo's we will deffo be back. Can you open a shop in Wemyss Bay please 😁
Wow, we are totally stuffed. Fish was lovely. 2 bits of fish for a large portion. Haggis amazing, two huge bits for 1 portion. Sausage is the same.
Fresh fish cooked to order and must be amongst the lower priced shops in the town. Pity it doesn't open every day.

Yes, prices have gone up but they've gone up everywhere. But the quality of the fish and batter is the best I've ever tasted.
And they do Stornoway black pudding, where else does that? And at a stupidly cheap price.

We live near a popular competitor, but the smell from that place is enough for us to make the 10 min drive to Halbeath.

Always great to find a good proper chippy. Husband and I have been going to this chippy for years and have never been disappointed. Had a chippy tea tonight , the first in well over a year. Was very tasty. We loved our fish suppers. Service is good and friendly too.

Honestly the best fish supper that I've ever had. Hand cut chips, crispy on the outside fluffy on the inside. Lovely fresh fish, nice and thick with a crisp batter. Not at all greasy. Amazing value and in a proper cardboard carton. Definitely worth a visit. Can't wait for my next visit.
These were the best chicken, fish and chips that we have had in a very long time. The batter was excellent- light and crispy as were the chips. Everything was freshly cooked and not at all greasy. The food was excellent value for money.
The lady serving was lovely being very helpful and polite.
We would recommend Armando's Fish Bar and if we are ever in the are again we will definitely visit again.
