Newly reopened after a month of renovation, and what a difference it really makes. New bar, seats, flooring, lights, colour scheme, the whole lot has been changed, for the better. Even the loos get a much needed upgrade.

The meal was large- value for the money. Dish was well presented. quiet and relaxing atmosphere. I had katsu curry. The food was hot and delicious. It was pricey for soft drinks, around £3 for a half pint of lemonade. Staff were great, friendly, smiling, relaxed.

Really enjoyable food, friendly service but felt slightly understaffed with only 2 on the floor for the majority of our stay. Our main course came fast and was delicious but we agreed could do with a minute or two longer just so it's a bit warmer.
