The restaurant had a nice ambience and we'll certainly pay a return visit soon.
Came here today sat 19.8.23 for the 1st time since it changed from the world buffet to mountain spice and still is the same owner jaz. We all had the business lunch Β£8.95 I had chicken pakora to start I forgot to take a picture of that. And South Indian lamb chilli and a garlic naan bread and I must say from start to finish this was excellent π .Great service and great tasting food great portion of food for money also great atmosphere very clean and tidy from the moment we sat down we all were eating within 10 to 15 minutes π½οΈβ5*all the way we will be back cheers jaz all the best in your new business π

My wife and I and our friends had a fabulous meal in the restaurant tonight.
All of the food we ate was exceptional and the staff were very attentive.
The price of all of the dishes were very reasonable and the drinks were the same.
I have eaten in at least 15 different Indian restaurants in Ayrshire and would have to rate this one the best of them all.
I would like to thank all the staff the at Mountain Spice for this delicious experience and wish all the success in the future.

I had an amazing dining experience at Mountain spice restaurant.The food was absolutely delightful, and the service was impeccable. Staff couldnβt do enough for us , and the menu offered a wide variety of mouthwatering dishes. I highly recommend trying their lamb bhoona , my sonβs favourite was the haggis pakora, it was a truly amazing. This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates authentic Indian cuisine! Definitely be visiting again thanks you

First time trying since it changed from the buffet, what a difference. We went at lunch time the food was fantastic couldn't fault was very fresh and hot and tasted really good. I wasn't sure about going but really glad we did and will certainly be back again. Good value for money

Absolute great time at chef world Buffett for my daughters 18th lunch party. food was delicious staff were very friendly and welcoming . Great value for money we had a party of 16 ,3 of which were kids 2 of them under 2 this was not a problem plenty of space and high chairs too. And the young lad that was serving our table was polite and always there to refill our drinks or take away plates he even came outside and took a family photo for us. So over all if youβre looking for great service and amazing food and good value for your money I RECOMMEND you book your self a table you wonβt be disappointed. I've been twice so far, have ordered different things, and all the food was perfect.
Will be going a lot more in the future. The food here is proper Indian food, lots of flavour and really nice and excellent, so is the pershwari naan too.
I had some of the ice cream after and that was so good too.
I highly recommend this a place to eat out and the prices are reasonable too. As I was driving, I had latte coffee and was one of the nicest I have had.
This place is a new restaurant opened a few weeks ago. I went in the past when it was a buffet place and was not good, but the new restaurant is perfect.
The staff are really friendly and nice too. I'm a cook, I can cook really good asian food, but the food here is nicer than I can make.
Came here with my partner and young son was amazing from the minute we came in the door until we left food was amazing piping hot great flavours even the coffee was delicious we came from Stevenson as this is now our new favourite Indian please give them a try top drawer
Went to mountain spice in Dundonald on a recommendation, to be honest we were a bit sceptical as it used to be a world buffet place. Well let me tell you it did not disappoint from spiced onions ,to nan bread everything was superb, we were a party of 4 and not 1 complaint from anyone. I can safely say it will be our new regular and pretty much right on the doorstep to Troon, plus the bonus of a few refreshments at the auchans first.
The food is really nice , the staff are very helpful . One portion of rice and one main was enough to feed 2 . Next time I'm going to have a sit in meal
Really nice restaurant, great value for money and really tasty Indian dishes, would have given 5 stars but their European dishes need a little bit of improvement.
