Lovely bar, beautiful decor, with many Dundee touches.
Service was good and waiter kept popping by to ask if we needed anything.
Food was good and there are small portions available and those are a decent size portions too.
Desserts looked phenomenal.

This is a lovely place with lots of different seating areas.I especially liked the wee nod to DC.Thomson.The staff were friendly and welcoming.I also liked the fact that they were all smartly dressed,you don't get that much these days,but there's nothing worse than walking into a place and the staff are scruffy looking(it puts you off)We ate on this occasion and I can honestly say the food was great and good value for money,the portion sizes were good also.Go and have a look for yourself.
Nice big pub. Good pints and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Busy as there was a gig on that night but the staff got us a seat which was great. Quick service too. Bottle of Prosecco £12.95 between 4 and 8 on a Friday. Can't afford with that. Tennents tank later too which was nice
Amazing food! Had salt and pepper chicken with chips totally did not disappoint!!! Ordered a side of onion rings too and they came in a large bowl with about 10 in them, great price! Lovely staff and service too, will definitely be back!
Visited here with family. Decent prices, good live music, traditional and beautiful interior. Superb atmosphere.
Tasty lunch, salt and pepper chicken half rice half chips, chilli beef rice chips and tortilla chips, not massive portion but tasty and cooked well, will come back here again.

Fantastic food. Service ok, my daughter waited a long time for her chips, we already had our food. So, we had to wait with her.
My son had his wedding drinks and food here, we had all the upstairs placed out for us, the staff were amazing, couldn't do enough for us. The food was lovely and hot, they also serve half portions for people who can't eat a lot. I would definitely recommend this pub.

This is my go-to place to have a good meal. Staff are always friendly, and they even know what my uncle has when he is with me. Would recommend if yoy enjoy a natter and a good meal.
Tennent's Lager from their big tank is superb.
Food superb, but prices have gone up lately.
Have been there quiet a few times with family and friends always find Ashley Kate and the rest of the staff very helpful and friendly and have always had a great meal keep it up folks your doing a great job
