Shax burger does amazing beef smash burgers and grilled chicken burgers.
They are a bit out of the main town centre but worth the trek.
It does get a bit hot inside due to the grill! Aircon would be great!
Wow! Best fries around π fresh and crispy and all the flavourings on point. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. Came for takeout out of town and were invited to take a seat in instead on the dreary stormy day, so we did. Place is incredibly clean, well decorated and staff are lovely. Best of luck on your back to normal from this Monday hours. Wish them many good sales. Definitely suggest getting the grilled wings too and the milkshakes go down a treat during and after. Can never go wrong with a Shax in Dundee. The food is always on point. I am a regular and hands down have never had a bad meal. From there burgers to the loaded fries they are all spot on.
My favourites there Grilled Cheese with mist of the toppings. There loaded fries are all amazing no matter what you choose.
Worth a visit. Its a must and al Halal too.
Local burger fast food restaurants. The best thing is you can have vegan and gluten free burger here as well. Portions are nice and freshly made.

Guy doing the cooking really knows his stuff, chicken was just great and it's got to have been the best crispy french fries I've tasted in a long time. "Addictively so".
Decent selection on the menu so I would definitely recommend a visit if a nice snack meal is on your days agenda.
Burgers are really good, cooked to order, fresh. Large portions of chips, enough to share. Seasoned chips not so good, just seasoning dumped on after chips cooked. Burgers take an age to come.
What a great place to go. One of the staff was out of this world. What a gem he was. As am cutting one of the stuff helped me stay in my calorie allowance, recommend me a salad with chicken. He genuinely was amazing definitely will be coming back when I pop by Dundee
Great attention to detail with each and every menu item - from the buns to the crispyness of the chicken to the in house sauces. Had one the best chicken burgers I have ever tasted. Great food. Definitely recommend.

Amazing burgers!! Way better than expected and even the chips were great quality and fresh. The staff were super friendly, everything was clean and the indoor seating was nice and comfortable. All the food is halal too - highly recommend!
Ordered a beef brisket burger, wings and cheesy chips. Nice food but I probably got too much! Couldn't finish the burger and I much preferred the chips and wings.
The cheesy chips was flavourful and although a bit soft, there were crunchy parts which I preferred.
The wings were coated in sweet chilli sauce and a bit crunchy, which I quite liked!
Collection time was only around 10-15 minutes after I rang and placed the order. It was cheaper than ordering it on JustEat actually so I'd recommend just phoning.
Would recommend, and the place looked clean which is always good in this climate!

Great food and nice portion size, and great service. Slightly more expensive than other takeaways but with that you do get a quality product in comparison
The shake was a bit too thick for me but taste wise it was good.
I enjoy some spicy food and have found myself repeatedly visiting here for the 'Hotness Monster' burger. The burger itself is pleasantly spicy but does not compromise taste for pure heat (the sauce in the burger retains a level of sweet creaminess).
I recently tried the spicy fries they offer and have found them to be excellent as well.

Great new burger place in Dundee. Hot-ness monster burger on point. Well cooked food and great customer service. Shax burger deffo offers something different to consumers compared to other local takeaways. Kinder Buenos milkshake and house hot fries are amazing.
IMO the 1 star review left is a fake review from a person that doesnt like seeing a new family run business doing well on opening.

The food it's self was fantastic
Burgers were cooked well and lovely tasting, the chips were to die for, skin on cooked just right, not too crispy and not greasy. thoroughly enjoyed.
The prices are very fair and we feel we got good value for money.
We had to wait on our order which is always a good sign as it was all cooked fresh and they called my mobile when our food was ready. A pleasant experience.
