Rough & Fraser - Dundee - Photo album

Can't rate this place highly enough. Rolls are lovely, pastries are second to none and they do the best sausage rolls I've ever tasted. Proper fried doughnuts too like they used to be, none of this oven baked, dry rubbish. Excellent
Thanks to the young lady that served me my pie cases etc on Friday morning so good at her job Great Service Thank you
Very good customer service thanks again for the special delivery of fresh cakes etc.
We have visited this place a few times and they always have lovely Fresh baked goods
Buying pie cases for my own pie making buisness hehe

These guys do the best lorne and cheese rolls in Dundee
Busy but the girls got through the queue quickly.
Established bakery in Dundee, always high quality service offering the "personal touch", ensuring genuinely pleasant experience, which is so nice to see these days.
Best rolls in Dundee along with a great selection of cakes. There is also a hot food counter with really good service. The staff in both the Hilltown shop and Broughty Ferry shop are pleasant polite, cheerful, and helpful.
Best rolls in Dundee by far , live in leeds so going back down the road filled my rucksack with 2 dozen butter rolls beats anything they've got down in Yorkshire 😋
Best in the town but getting a bit expensive
Still the same friendly local bakers. All breads, rolls and cakes at a great price. Quality of all is second to none. Ladys behind the counter are lovely and able to chat to all. Yes you do queue here, but it's a great place to be cheered up and made to be happy.
Very busy local Baker. Good fresh rolls. Filled rolls also available and range of bakery goods.
Very friendly and courteous staff, great food 👍
Plenty of choice hot or cold food. Service with a smile
Excellent old-school/traditional Bakers. The Macaroni Pie is delicious. Next time I visit Dundee I will definitely be returning for more tasty treats.
Good food+pleasant staff.
As an Aberdonian I would consider myself an authority on rowies (or butteries as you call them down here). Went here in a recommendation from a colleague but not expecting much! I can honestly say this rivals any rowie I've had in Aberdeen! The rolls are also fab and the sausage rolls are great too.
