I was in last night with my friends for a wee girls night and it was fabulous! The food (in particular the loaded fries) was delicious! Our server, I think her name was Niamh, was so helpful and friendly, the cocktails she made us were just amazing! Overall an amazing experience 😊
Braes is a fun vibrant place for students. Most of the staff are students themselves so are very talkative and friendly. Last night I was there with a few of my friends and the guy behind the bar (I think his name was Ben) was very helpful with the menu and even suggested some things to us. We went with the chicken loaded fries (due to his suggestion) and he was absolutely right! They were so yummy and arrived very handy. Will be going again soon!
Came in for the boozy brunch and couldn't be happier! Felt well attended to by the staff, especially Jack, the food was good, and the cocktails kept flowing!

Good atmosphere to hang out. Large TV for watching the game. We ordered plates to share. The taste was average.
Good variety of beer and spiritz. The rasberry juice was a bit too sweet. I like the Innis and Gunn beer. The Tennent was too light. Pet friendly.
I started going to braes in my first year of university and have been returning ever since. The quality of the food is remarkable and the staff and very friendly and welcoming. I believe they pride themselves in hosting events such as a pub quiz and major sporting with a vibrant atmosphere and very reasonable prices.
Visited recently for lunch. We had beef burrito bowl, chicken burrito bowl, pizza cone and salt and chilli fries.
Food was amazing and definitely value for money. Everything really fresh and arrived in good time. Staff were lovely, Ben very friendly and helpful when we were placing our order, Sophie delivered our order and checked everything was satisfactory. We will definitely return.

What a great find on our short visit to Dundee. Cracking atmosphere, amazing food and superb service. Special thanks to Ben for keeping us right with things to do while we were in Dundee, not often folk actually converse with customers nowadays, especially in busy establishments like yours, he is a credit to your team. I am a first year student so I have only recently tried the braes for the first time. The food was lovely and the staff were very helpful. The blonde girl serving us (Stevie I’m sure her name was) was very polite and welcoming. Will definitely be back.

Arrived at the braes and was welcomed warmly by the bar staff. After we ordered Nieve and Kirsten was of great service throughout our meal, very responsive when our drinks were getting low. Would definitely recommend the boozy brunch! Bargain at £28. 6 cocktails and a meal!!

Great pub on Dundees Perth road. Friendly atmosphere and it’s dog friendly. The bar staff seems to love the dogs so your pooch will typically get a big fuss as well as water and biscuits.
There’s a good selection of beers and cocktails. Food is also served.
There’s a good boozy brunch option where you can get a meal and a bunch of cocktails for something like £25 which is excellent value.
Good food, friendly staff, helpful with dietary requirements (a member of our party has dairy and soy allergies), speedy service.
We had the 2 for 1 pizza deal, including a BBQ chicken pizza, a bacon/chicken/waffle pizza, a pepperoni pizza (vegan cheese), and a jackfruit pizza (vegan cheese). All great.
