The toasted egg mayo sandwich was a first for me and really amazing. The food is excellent and very hot. A great escape from Dundee but only minutes away surrounded by farmland.

Had an amazing breakfast this morning as always at The Pine Cone Cafe! The lorne and egg roll was cooked perfectly and the crepe with lemon and sugar was brilliant! Incredible value for money with lovely, attentive staff in a really friendly environment. Can't wait to go back!!
It's not too far from Dundee and is in a stunning location . It has ample parking and disabled access : it is covid secure masks are mandatory whilst browsing around the gift shop or when you move from your table if dining : the menu is fairly limited but the quality of food is excellent and extremely good value for money ! Staff are friendly and efficient and the cafe area has a very relaxed atmosphere . We'd been on a long walk so to see this was like an oasis in the desert: I would highly recommend the pinecone it's caters for all ages and they put your safety first in these uncertain times : I loved the place and there is no need to book as outside eating area is also available ! If I could give it 6 stars I would !
Really lovely place, cozy and nicely Christmas-y. Menu is not too big but then again the place is very remote and it's not very big. Loads of decorations and stuff that you can buy, lovely staff, totally recommended!
We received a warm and friendly welcome as we entered the cafe and gift shop, the cakes were delicious and the coffee was nice, very good value everything on the menu is reasonably priced , well worth a visit, easy parking too
We visited the café at lunchtime on Sunday but unfortunately there were no tables available. It was heaving. We decided to treat ourselves to something sweet so we got a strawberry tart and a Biscoff slice to take away. The tart was the best one I've ever had. We also got a punnet of strawberries - absolutely delicious. We'll try and visit at a quieter time as we've heard lots of good things about this place. A dine in review to follow.

Great food, but still cheap and cheerful, lunch main meal, coffee and cakes for less than £15 each. food wasn’t overly fancy but obvious focus on quality. Coffee was great, and the gift shop had a great selection of stuff, and the prices were surprisingly low given the look of them, actually had to check the price because I thought it was lower than it should have been
Great wee cafe, food and friendly service excellent. Despite being busy all the girl servers were very attentive and made us very welcome. We got a great table suitable for my Dad in a wheelchair away from the door. Great Xmas shop with a good range of gifts at very reasonable prices. Will definitely be back a hidden gem.

We visited for the first time today for a private function. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was excellent and the teapot never ran dry. We will definitely be back and I'm looking forward to browsing around the shop too.

Beautiful, peaceful setting. 1st day in a cafe after lockdown and Pinecone cafe did not disappoint. Lovely coffee and a delicious strawberry tart. Pinecone cater for all, including our puppy. The Dog House annex has an inside and outside area for dog owners. Brilliant idea, both myself and Honey had a lovely time.
This cafe has the best selection of vegan and gluten free cakes. Shop is a delight to wander round. They are very friendly to have dogs in a special section. Love every vist
The staff were very helpful and understanding with my Diet requirements, highly recommend,back for a nice treat, just as good as the last time
