Review 2: Unfortunately I had to drop one star because our last visit wasn't as good as our first. The food was great but the service was a bit of a let down. One waitress showed a bit of an attitude when we asked to split the bill. I didn't expect it to be a big ask. We were still going to leave a tip but we were told firmly that she could not add tips on the card. Weird because they had done it for us before. We still enjoyed our lunch so we'll probably be back (purely for the sticky toffee pudding 😋). Hopefully we'll get a waitress who is more friendly and helpful. Review 1: A group of us went there for lunch on a Thursday. It was a really nice experience. They accommodated us well since we had 2 prams. The food was delicious. They have a very extensive menu but there isn't a lunch menu. The staff are very polite and attentive. The restaurant itself is very spacious and comfortable. We'll definitely be back.

Went for supper, lovely meal, lots of choice, poached egg starter, amazing. Had a walk round the grounds, stunning. Definitely going back to stay at one of their cabins, 5 star for sure.

Loved the Scullery. Staff were warm and welcoming. The food was great quality and really tasty. Afterwards we went for a walk around the well maintained fishponds on the beautiful grounds.

We've been a few times for breakfast, lots of choice and everything is good quality and seems very fresh. Service can be a wee bit hit and miss.

Nice place, great views. The cups are never completely clean, although it is nice the try and pre warm them before serving you. Always end up wiping them with a napkin. Would be nice to be acknowledged whilst waiting, then served a little quicker once seated.

Visited for a wedding set up and had a spot of lunch... Wow the food was amazing... The fish was huge and batter was perfect... The burger was out of this world... Will definitely make it a monthly occurrence....

Tha cost of afternoon tea should be advertised as for 1 person as this confuses people and you will get a little shock when you find the bill at double the cost expected
