Food was good and the place was so cute! Not only that, it was only 5 minuets walk from my place! Staff were also very friendly :) Will definitely come back to Tonic ❤️❤️
A lot of veggie and vegan options for the burger. Nice meal, just a bit pricey (£18 for a burger and a mojito). Nice cocktails and a huge range of gins.
Despite a slightly wet Sunday lunchtime we ventured into town in summer gear (it had been sunny previously that day!!) and made our way to tonic to use our itison voucher. Met with a cheery welcome (Vincent I think?) we were shown to our table and offered drinks, a quick look at the menu and a swift choice of brunch was chosen! In no time at all we received what can only be described as AMAZING! My baked eggs with hash brown, bacon and black pudding with extra chorizo were to die for!! The eggs benedict was spot on also!! A very tasty brunch washed down with a glass of prosecco and followed by a fab raspberry gin cocktail was just the ticket for us both!! And the sun came out!!! Well done team tonic!!
Simply Amazing!!. I came on this site to write what was probably the best service I've had in Dundee and just can't believe the other reviews. I've been to Tonic on a number of occasions and it simply nails it every time for us - consistently! It is a really busy place though and I suppose you can't please everybody all the time. DO GO!!
Simply Awesome. Hi there, I go to this place all of the time and love it, friendly staff, good food, always very clean and very welcoming. I am a girl and I love the fact that they lite candles during the winter months during the day even at breakfast time. It is a small thing I know but it really helps to welcome people in and I just love it - thank you Tonic for the candles :-)
Tonic has a brilliant selection of Burgers (50 odd I think!), wraps, baked potatoes and heaps of delicious sides. I also like the chilli very much, as I have been there so very often I have talked to the staff and everything is cooked on thier own kitchens and I am assured (you can tell actually) that the burgers are not poor quality and I have had my fare share of burgers and they are right Tonic seem to have got a great butcher!
Oooo! before I sign off, they also have a very nice coffee machine as well as staff who know how to actually use it and free wifi ... nothing bad to say at all really.

My friend took me to Tonic when I was up staying with her for a weekend. We came in before getting food and say at the bar. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was fab. Enjoyed it so much we went back after food. Nothing was too much trouble - even getting a cocktail that wasn't on the menu.
It's quite rare that I give a burger place five stars but Tonic definitely deserves it.
As a vegetarian I often resign myself to a slab of rubbery halloumi or a lukewarm Portobello mushroom thrown into a tired bun and all for the price of three or four pints. How refreshing to find somewhere that actually makes an effort! My partner is not vegetarian but opted for the halloumi. Unlike the experience described above, at Tonic the halloumi was battered and crispy on the outside and thought had been given to the condiments that accompanied it. I tried the vegan mac and cheese burger which was also very tasty. The burger buns were also notably good - light and chewy and held the filling - they didn't disintegrate into a soggy mess after a couple of minutes. There was a nice range of beers to have with our burgers. Also seemed like a nice atmosphere just for a drink. Would happily come back here.
Top spot for burgers, cocktails and atmosphere! Cocktails are the best in town! Always fresh burger types on the menu, highly recommend the specials and the pulled pork burger!

Great! Lovely people working there, soo many burger options (some are a little crazy) but I went for a classic cheese burger and it was great. Sweet potato fries were perfect!
Cracking burgers in this place. It is also a must that you upgrade to cajun lattice fries.

Came here with a friend for a catch up meal. A lovely establishment that doesn't deal damage to your ear drums when it comes to music. Staff are very nice and professional and the food (puled pork nachos) are something else although I do work make sure you either have it on an empty stomach or with water.
Cocktails are nicely made... Still can never understand the two straw thingy. No matter haha
