A warm welcome & polite service throughout our meal. We were served our food at a reasonable timing, however when it started to get a bit busier we were waiting considerably longer. The food was nice & we were asked about allergies/ dislikes to avoid being served them and also offered the vegetarian option. I felt quite cramped in the corner once it started getting busier and didn’t want to get up to use the restroom as people would’ve had to pull their chairs in. Food is tasty and it was a new experience for us.

We used our Christmas voucher for a 6 course tasting menu tonight. Food was excellent, hot salmon starter, pork belly next, the scallops, main was haggis, needs & tatties with Grouse breast, the cheese course and last but not least, hazelnut creme brulee which was amazing.

Went by car from Perth, plenty of parking in the street and round the corner. Got a space right in front. 6 course taster menu. We had a voucher so we each dropped a different dessert so we could try them all. Given bread and a crab paste to eat while our food was prepared. We ordered drinks of tayberry purée and rose lemonade. Enjoyed it so much had another. The food was varied and well presented, enjoyed them all, even the pheasant with snails. Favourite was the pollock on squash soup. Very comfortable evening. Couldn’t eat any more.

We had a wonderful meal at the Tayberry today. We had the set 3 course Lund, my friend having the vegetarian option which they kindly provided. The staff were friendly and efficient. We will be back!

Lovely food and decent portions for fine dining. Our waitress didn't know much about wines on menu but got manager who could advise. Service pretty fast and lovely presentation, plates, glasses and silverware. Nice decor. We wanted to sit upstairs to enjoy views but upstairs was not being used due to small number of bookings. We will certainly revisit.

Food was excellent. Service was good although the waitress was still very much a work in progress but very friendly. We had the festive lunch but the atmosphere could have been a bit more festive

Went here for my girlfriends uni graduation meal and the service and food was without equal. Excellent service with great guidance. The wine flight matched the meal perfectly and only made our food even better, hats off to whomever curated it. The food was portioned excellently for a 3 course meal and my main of slow cooked short rib of scotch beef will be unmatched for years to come. Cannot wait to recommend this to everyone I can and bring my family and friends to experience it. 5 stars, 10/10.

Absolutely delicious meal here. The staff are welcoming and attentive. I liked the theme of the restaurant. The personalised plates, along with the tasty dinner. We had the Forfar lamb it was delicious, as was the house wine. The toilets were very clean. I only had main course so cannot comment on anything else. I'd definitely go back again when I'm in the area.

Best meal I have ever had. Took my daughter for her Birthday and we both loved the food, service was amazing and atmosphere perfect. WE have been going to Edinburgh for meals to the Balmoral Hotel, George Hotel food was Gr8 but Tayberry beats then all. It's a truly hidden gem in Dundee.

Visited on a weekday night about 6 o'clock, place was relatively busy and service was excellent as was the food, not a big selection but I prefer that than to much choice.

Recommend making a booking in advance as very popular. Polite and safe welcome on arrival. Lovely layout of tables and great atmosphere even at lunchtime. Good choice from 3 different menus. Quality of the food was excellent and the service was good, especially considering that the restaurant was full. Excellent choice for something a little bit special. Thanks for a lovely relaxing lunch. We will definitely be back.

Lovely place with a relaxing atmosphere, on the more expensive end but well worth the price. Went with a group of 4 food staff were super friendly and attentive, food was delicious and something a bit different from the usual pub food ☺️☺️
