Gallery48 is our all time favourite place in Dundee. We had our first date here, as well as a graduation celebration. It’s the perfect place for casual and more formal plans. It can get quite busy and noisy during the evening. The tapas is great. We can recommend the catalan spinach and the prawns. The cheese and meat platter is also great. Several of our friends have approved the gin list as good as well. The actual secret though is their breakfast. They make amazing baked toasts. Savoury and sweet. S’mores toast is our go to, however the Chocolate and Cinnamon toasts are also great. You can also just have a coffee and pastry for £3 if you need to catch up on gossip with your friends. It’s also typically very empty in the morning, no need to book. For lunch or dinner you should book.
The breakfast was good and delicious.. and definitely I will go again.
good coffee.
The staff were friendly but we waited for 40min to get our food.
I went for brunch it wasn’t good at all. So I only recommend it for breakfast and coffee.
A very special lady gave me the introduction to this little restaurant, most amazing tapas in Dundee.
The food was absolutely amazing. The sangria and cocktails we had exploding with flavour, and I enjoyed every last sip.
The restaurant was gleaming top to bottom, the music was smooth weather was great,
the place had an amazing atmosphere.
The sevice was second to none. Perfect timing between dishes, never an empty glass, Luckily, it wasn't so busy, so we got extra great sevice. Thank you so much for the service alongside the great food and company.
Had the nite of my life!
Thanks, Louise, beautiful, brilliant, talented.
First visit for lunch with friends, food was nicely presented and hot but came in a very random order. One dish arrived and was eaten slowly but still finished before any others arrived. Then 5 or so arrived in a reasonably timely way, then a final dish about 10 minutes after the table had been cleared. Would go again though
Great service, delicious food. Portions are well sized. Goats cheese is delicious. One of my fave
Spots in dundee

Crocretas de carne saben a "migas"
GOAT cheese salad from another world. Pilpil really good.
Meetballs, need to take a look, Guys put a little 💕 when u make the food. Iberian selection with cheese so nice as well. And they have Estrella Galicia top quality beer. I recommend this place if u want to have a Spanish experience in Dundee, Scotland.
Wow! Went with the wife on a friend's recommendation after being disappointed by another tapas venue on the town. Fabulous sangria, excellent food, we were very happy bunnies rolling down the road. Unfortunately I did not get our server's name, but her recommendations were spot on, as was her service.
Wonderful establishment. Very polite and pleasant staff. There was a moment that we waited a very long time for soup and a sandwich, but this issue was resolved by the staff as quickly as possible, which is very nice. Liked the design of the place. Water is provided to customers free of charge. The menu is very good, the bar list is very extensive. I was a little embarrassed by the table, which lived a separate life (staggered).
We went for food twice in Gallery 48 and absolutely loved it both times. We arrived late Saturday night and they still managed to fit us in before the kitchen closed, the service was exceptional, with Gavin being a real asset to the restaurant, he was amazing and very friendly and helpful, which made the experience all the better. We got the cured meat platter, the crab salad, the chicken skewers and the chorizo and black pudding tapas, everything was super tasty, especially the meat platter! Very good value for money, we were really happy with our visit and will be back whenever we pass through Dundee.
This is a lovely restaurant. The atmosphere is just perfect and staff were very very friendly. The menu had something for everyone and was explained very clearly by our server. Tables were a great size for tapas and the whole place was very homely and comfortable.
The food was delicious! Great selection, all of which very tasty and filling. As the restaurant got busier service did slow down considerably with wait times for some dishes nearing 25 minutes which wasn’t great. However overall a brilliant atmosphere and great staff, would 100% recommend for a unique yet familiar variety of tapas.
Lovely nice restaurant, super clean, really bright and airy inside, really welcoming feeling. Staff friendly and helpfull, all really cheerful. Food was amazing, good sized portions, super high quality and really nice. Really great value! The soup was superb and the tapas great. Good veggie options, plenty to choose from. Well worth a visit!
WOW................ Love it, love it ❤️ love it. What a great amazing place to be. I would love to tell people that Gallery 48 is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AND AWSOME. Guys, please, please just stay the way you are and don't change. Something amazing is going on. Your wine is pretty 😍 amazing. Your food is just ridiculous, the matching with cheese and meat mmmm so chilled. What a place to be. People if you see this, then please go. These guys are amazing xxxx sorry about he picture of the meat and cheese platter, it was that good I could not and forgot to take a before hahahaha 😜 excellent xxx
Was recommended Gallery 48 on facebook it didn’t fail to meet and exceed our expectations. Excellent food and service from Gavin. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Dundee.
We each had 3 dishes, and a pudding.
Fantastic tapas place, great selection of meaty, seafood or vege plates and came out quickly. Sangria was fantastic and had a lovely time. This was my second tapas experience but I feel I’ve actually been to a tapas restaurant now.
Friendly, efficient staff. Bright, airy place with a pleasant atmosphere. Food very tasty and well cooked. Great variety of tapas. Definitely be back.
This is a Spanish restaurant. Service quality and food environment are good. Crab is recommended, but it's a little fishy. The chicken is a little wood. Potatoes are very good, one of the best POTATOES I've ever had.
Excellent food, brilliant staff and great drinks range. We ended up going in after walking past the place. Staff were welcoming and manage to get us a table, on a Wednesday night they seemed quite busy. They have a sanitizer station at the door and also give you a small bottle on the table. The staff were very friendly and talked us through the menu and gave us drink recommendations. The food came quickly and so did the drinks. The food was excellent and would get the gambas pil pil and the tortilla again. Definitely will be back.
Loved it! New favourite place for a varied menu, quality ingredients and great service! We shared a cheese platter between three and there was a good amount for all, plus a few smaller dishes. I would highly recommend taking your girlfriends or family out for a lunch here. The staff were attentive, the owner even giving us a breakdown of what all the cheeses and sauces were on our platter (carefully chosen and a beautiful selection from blue and goats to manchego and smokey, all with bread, oil/vinegar dip, grapes etc etc), we really enjoyed sharing our plates and chatting over drinks. My friend had a Margherita, freshly made at the bar and it looked wonderful. We also rounded off with some delicious coffees and tipped our servers. Great atmosphere, busy enough to book ahead when you really want to ensure a good time ❤️👌
