Fantastic food and great staff and service. Excellent for either a family get-together or a night out with friends. Recent renovations have freshened-up the Anchor and now it's even better!
Nice place for drinks and for food. There's a wide selection of alcoholic beverages. However, there are very few cocktails to choose from. The food is very good as far as pub grub goes and the portions are huge. The menu is extensive but the dessert options are limited - only 4 or 5. The service is
Great Thursday evening in The Anchor Bar for food and karaoke with 6 friends, who I had been on a golf outing with. Many thanks to all the barstaff for looking after us and to all the very good singers who performed on the night.Look forward to returning some time.
Only been once but absolutely loved it.....food, service and atmosphere really great. Very traditional pub, it was so lovely to be in somewhere so busy and friendly.
Great place for an impromptu meal, fast service, food lovely and nice waiting staff. The curry was really good, would definitely recommend.
Came here a few years ago and had a nice meal, came again and the standard are still up there, each member of our company enjoyed their meal which is a rare occurrence, keep it up you are doing something right
Very busy even on weekdays so if you're a bigger group it's best to book.

Visited family in Dundee and we’re lucky enough to get a last minute table on Saturday night. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was amazing and homemade.
