I had lunch with friends here recently and found the place friendly and generally satisfactory. The usual pub grub is on the menu. The food was well-prepared and appetising. We will be back.

When ordering over the phone was told delivery would be 90 minutes. Food arrived promptly and was still hot. We ordered 6oz steak burger with bacon, and the bbq chicken. Both dishes were fresh and tasty. Great portion size. We were charged £40 when paying, however when the delivery arrived, the lady handed me a money bag with change saying we had been overcharged. By £15. Thank you for the honesty. Would highly recommend The Village Inn 👌

Visited on Saturday 12th March as a couple. Great location, advertised award winning food but in these expensive times the menu has obviously been adapted towards the cheaper end of the spectrum. The place is clean but no obvious vibe or atmosphere (at least around 2/3pm). Service and prices for drinks were good. The blond girl serving was certainly friendly, the guy seemed very busy, didn't chat or smile much. Decided to stay for lunch, looked at menu and sat at table behind the door. Ordered the Indian mixed combo to start, waitress spoke to colleague and I think that they discussed this but only together, not with us. Also ordered the steak pie (with potatoes), not chips and the lasagne with garlic bread. Noticed that tables on slightly upper level were pretty busy with food being ordered. Large sharing platter arrived with chips,(not ordered by us) not potato wedges (as advertised on menu), 3 chicken wings, 2 slices garlic bread, salsa nachos, garlic mushrooms with 2 dips to be told by waitress that the pakora, samosas from Indian mixed combo were off due to bad quality. This plateful were obviously from frozen supermarket aisle. The taste was OK though and we were both starving... The steak pie had no gravy apart from inside pie and the roast potatoes were also the frozen packet variety. The lasagne tasted fine but as I got nearer the bottom of the dish there was a big pool of oil sitting there. Overall we had bigger expectations of this place but food was filling and cheap.

We ate twice here this past weekend and both times were super impressed. My dad had the good old fish and chips and had only high praise indeed. All our food was excellent. Service wonderful and just lovely staff both nights. Highly recommend.

Hiya, would like to leave a quick review. James our server for when we visited, was nothing but excellent. Quick, Reliable and had fantastic charismatic Banter. Food was outstanding (salt was in the right shaker) and the atmosphere was brilliant. Will 110% come back. Cheers James, you are a fantastic young man!

Nice pub with good choice of beers and wines. Good range of food on the good value menu. Tasty soup and sandwiches suited us for a light lunch. Service was very friendly and would definitely return.

Would give 6 stars if I could. The guy was very friendly (assume he is the manager - sorry didn't catch his name), drink selection was fab and very affordably priced, food was gorgeous, restaurant quality and they have loads of veggie AND vegan options which was such a nice surprise. Friendly atmosphere. Will definitely be back to try more food when I am back in Dunblane. Thank you! (I wasn't staying here at the pub so couldn't give a score for the rooms)

Fab meal, food was really tasty. Only disappointment was run out of sticky toffee pudding. We had a wheelchair user in our party and they provided a ramp to access upper seating level. Friendly staff. A pleasure to visit and will do so again

We had the most amazing cheesy nachos for starter and they were literally the best nachos that we've had anywhere Main we had a beef and veggie burger, both were excellent and the veggie was homemade which added that nice touch to an overall lovely evening meal When we return we will be having one cheesy nachos each this time, so delicious!!

After reading reviews we decided to have our dinner at the Village Inn and wasn't dissapointed. We had the roast beef and the chicken fajitas which were really tasty and large portions. Very friendly staff and would reccommend this pub for your meal
