The Riverside - Dunblane - Photo album

We had tea on a Friday 5pm. The restaurant was busy and we hadn't prebooked, but we were found a table which was booked for later on. We were given ample time for our meal and didn't feel time pressured because of this. The staff were so friendly and we were welcomed like old friends! As I was drivi
This place is absolutely what independent breakfast spots are all about. Great welcome, swift polite service by engaged staff and the most delicious full Scottish breakfast I've enjoyed in a very long time. Great poached egg, amazing sausage and bacon and haggis and black pudding and..... A great
Beautiful setting along the river in Dunblane. Delicious food, great service and a beautiful historic building. Be sure to check out the spiral staircase leading downstairs!
Amazing place, the waiter Richard was very welcoming and attentive. Really good and tasty food at a reasonable price, atmosphere very cozy. Definitely we will come back!
Lovely restaurant with a cozy feel (and wood burning stove!). And right next to a river so great energy ✨ We had the Sunday roast and it was great! Amazing gravy on it! The cakes and coffees were good too! We will definitely return :) Staff was nice and helpful.
Lovely little place. You can sit inside or outside. Seems very popular with lots of people coming and going but still easy enough to be seated without a reservation. 2 of our party had fish and chips which they said were lovely. I had the Scottish rib ciabatta. It was pretty good. The staff were ver
My son took me out for my birthday lunch today, The Riverside -Pub, Kitchen, and Coffee House, in Dunblane. The best meal ever, absolutely gorgeous, the meal and staff were brilliant. We will definitely be going back there again. Best roast beef lunch and all the trimmings, followed by creme brulee,
This was an excellent find. Great food, friendly service, excellent atmosphere, interesting location. Not a quick meal. Savor it.
A magnificent find. We were staying at the Hilton, Dunblane and decided to explore the town itself and happened upon this fantastic Restaurant / Pub. As soon as we entered the front door we were attentively greeted and shown to a table, sat and offered water, so our expectations were high. I opte
So glad we visited! We hadn't booked but were greeted warmly and found a table. I had the Beef Featherblade which was delicious. A nice selection of deserts left us spoilt for choice and there was a good selection of beers, including local ales, which were top notch. To add to a lovely evening,
We stopped here for our last night in Scottland. We were tired and sad that our trip was coming to an end. We could not have found a more perfect place to end our adventure. It was cozy, warm and the food so good. The staff was welcoming and friendly. It's a must place to go. Thank you Riverside for
Great place with good food. Top-notch - will be back.
This pub is friendly and Dog friendly. Good Real Ale on Hand Pump. It's well decorated inside and also has outdoor seating overlooking the river. Prices are on the higher side but blame the government for that one.
Popped in for lunch, steak sandwich really delicious, locally made ciabatta really nice. Good selection of beers too. Friendly staff. Polite and efficient. Definitely recommend
Amazing food in a very nice location! Good selection of beers and impressive food menu. My generous "Slow braised shin of Scottish beef" was cooked perfectly, it was melting in my mouth, you won't need a knife to cut it. Served with an abundance of roasted veggie and a very delicious and not to heav
This is one of our favourite places to chill out. Perfect setting on the river and so peaceful. The staff and food are exceptional especially the cream tea, cheese garlic bread. Reasonable prices for both food and drink. The manager is so attentive and obviously enjoying his job. Will be back again
Stopped here on our trip back from the Highlands to Edinburgh. Great atmosphere. Quick service. Ordered the fish and chips and enjoyed our meal.
Visited today and wasn't disappointed. Was received with a smile and sat in a lovely location on the lower decking area in the sun. We were served what's entitled a fish finger sandwich. But were served a beautiful crispy battered haddock on sourdough bread with salad and fries. It was just perfect
Really decent pub feed in a nice environment. Particularly good on a sunny day so you can sit in the beer garden overlooking the river. Service was very efficient. Good selection of beers. Parking can be a bit tricky in this area as it's quite busy with limited spots so give yourself time to find so
