What a gem of a place!!! Amazing breads, sausage rolls and pies, the baps were so tasty and well filled, cakes looked delicious and the service was amazing! The ladies were so helpful, pleasant and patient with the 7 of us whilst we faffed about trying to decide what we wanted to eat AND a proper cup of tea too!!! Definitely recommend a visit.
I definitely did not need to look for the bacon in my bacon roll. I couldn't believe it, it was packed! Great coffee and friendly service, highly recommended.
Great selection, really good prices and tasty food. Cheese scones were amazing
Breakfast pie is amazing. Highly recommended food stop. Great food & great prices.
Very nice small bakery. Very friendly and a nice selection on offer.
We stayed at a caravan site in Dunbar and we used this bakery a lot over the 2 weeks. The fresh batches were lovely and you couldn’t just go in there for those, as the cream cakes looked to good not to try, so ended up buying a lot of fresh cakes and the strawberry tart is a must to try.
Just bought an amazing cornish-style pasty and pain aux raisins to munch on the train to Newcastle. Excellent!
If you visit Dunbar or live there, this place is a must visit over and over again!
Home baked products that oooz skill and love in the making.
Savouries and sweet delights to die for let alone the home baked bread.
Steak pies with so much flavour you con only so oh yes!!
Lemon cheese cake that leaves you saying more more more.
I’ll be back without a doubt😁😁👍
Great place for quality hot rolls, pies, cakes and breads
I love this place and drive a distance twice a month to stock up . Its your traditional village bakery with everything baked in house but Dunbar also makes a variety of freshly baked sourdough loaves. Their selection of Danish's are great as well.
Fabulous bread, savouries, and cakes. The quiches were delicious and the egg custard was a real treat. Well done Dunbar Community Bakery - we'll be back when we're up your way
This is a lovely bakery - the pies were tasty and the cherry/rhubarb and apple/almond sponges are a dream! Definitely worth a visit ☺️
Really good artisan bread, which must be eaten fresh (doesn't keep - no artificial preservatives or additives). Tasty hot, and cold, food to eat in, or takeaway. Hot and cold drinks too. You must try their mini fruit pies and/or vanilla slices.
Wonderful bakery, just wished we lived nearer. Always use it when up on holiday and like this time always take home bread and the delicious cardamom twist buns. In fact just eaten some for lunch on way back home.
This bakery is wonderful. The quality of the cakes is fabulous. The baker, Ross Baxter, is a multi-prize-winning cake maker, and his cakes are as good as anything I have had in the finest French bakeries. Sticky buns, these are not; whilst not cheap, you are getting what you pay for, which is pâtisserie of the highest calibre. Top that with excellent bread, both sour dough and regular, the chance of a good cup of coffee, The Bakery Dunbar should not be missed.
Fantastic selection of bread, savouries and cakes. Great quality and prices. Well worth a visit when in Dunbar.

They've got an amazing master baker! If we lived next door to this bakery we'd the size of a house. Everything is amazing. Thank you!
