A friend and I went here for a later evening meal. At the bar i mentioned that I don’t know much about beer but wanted to try a local one. I ended up with something light and fruity, but unfortunately it was flat. No bubbles (that’s what takes the last star away). We waited a rather long time for the food, but being very hungry it proved to be worth the wait. Fish & chips was hearty, but not enough salt (or any!) and the Bangers & mash was solid. We tried haggis for the first time and the waiter asked us for a reaction, which was pleasant. Staff was overall friendly and the environment was easygoing. I’d recommend this place to anyone in the same situation.

Proper Scottish name for my second spoons while I was visiting Scotland!!! Great pint and food served by friendly and efficient staff!!! Car park just up the road but be aware you need a parking disc to use it from the police station near the car park.Worth a visit if your in the area and love Wetherspoons like me!!!

Absolutely love their deli pizza deal. Yummy pizza with thin crispy base and brilliant value. Staff are clearly hard working in this busy pub but are so lovely, friendly and helpful. Also enjoy trying their guest ales which are constantly changing. Excellent bar.

Lovely food, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Signage could be better and the outside of the pub didn't look great but would definitely return if in the area.

An 'ok', 'Spoons, popular with all ages, hard working staff, microwaved haggis, neaps and tatties was too dry but tasty. Excellent well kept beer. Amazing facade but the interior of this converted former Methodist Church is smaller than many other Spoons

Quick service. All orders are done online or through the app due to covid. Hardly had to wait at all for our food and the pizza was by far the best on the menu. Also free refills on hot drinks 😁

Clean and tidy. Good atmosphere and typical wetherspoons food. Tasted great. Only thing to think about is parking.

On a sunny lunch time, we thought let's see how this spoons is going to be like as we knew what type of service to expect. We were pleasantly surprised when we had a quick and efficient service, used the app to order, very easy, greeted at the door with polite staff. Only let down was the mug that I was given for the bottomless hot drinks, was stained and cutlery need re washing. I enjoyed the food and potions did not dissapoint, Almost a perfect score.., keep scrubbing them utensils (or get a better dish washer / service your current one)

Typical Wetherspoon pub, more limited menu but gets very busy. Staff shortage one morning resulted in un cleared tables and no mugs but generally well run otherwise. Good beer

As stated above good food, service, and atmosphere, most wetherspoons are a good place to eat whether out for the day or on holiday, and reasonably priced

Really crowded this time of day on a Saturday, but service was great! Food was tasty. Drinks were just right.
