The Stove Cafe - Dumfries - Photo album

Lovely food, stews are awsome! Nice Earl Grey tea as well! Maybe a few higher tables would help but meh! Staff friendly, just a lovely place to go, especially on a dreary, wet day! 👍🏻❤️😋🙂
Lovely bright friendly café. Very dog friendly. I’m not from Dumfries but you could see from posters etc that it is well used by the community and all kinds of people were popping in for a tea and a bite to eat. Friendly staff. A model for other towns.
We called today at about 2.45 . We didn’t realise they closed at three . The lady on the counter was lovely . We had a toastie each I had a veggie one and my OH had pulled pork . They were delicious. We also had two very nice coffees . The cafe was busy and had a lovely feel . If we are in Dumfries
My favorite place to come for lunch while we stayed in Dumfries - menu changes with what they have/is seasonal and I loved all of it!
Great café with lovely staff. Visited yesterday. The town was very busy with the UCI cycling event and the cafe was in demand but the food and service was its usual high standard.
Have been a few times before and always enjoyed the coffee and food..Visited yesterday with my sister who was a bit dubious as had been before and wasn't all that impressed. All that has changed however after having 'one of the best bacon rolls ever'! Lovely staff, great food and the ethos of the p
Delicious toasted cheese scone and bacon roll. Lovely staff - well worth visiting👍
A warm welcome from friendly staff. The cafe is Dog friendly which is always a bonus. The service was very good and the soup, coffee and bacon butty delicious. We will call again.
Great place to catch up with friends. Good selection of food. Great service.
Popped in today as it was dog friendly. Very impressed. Friendly staff, good coffee and toasties and very reasonable prices. What more could you want on a cold winters day 🙂 Will be back 👍
An absolute joy of a place. Really good coffee, toasty and amazing soup. So pleased we popped in on our holidays. Service was excellent as was the food. Thank you. We will be back.
We had a delicious lunch at the Stove a few days ago. We both had the lentil dhal stew and it was just about perfect. Really tasty, full of good ingredients and a generous portion. My coffee (black americano) was also excellent. This place runs on a not for profit basis and is highly recommended.
Visited for the first time yesterday .My order was for a roll and sausage and a pot of tea with a cake. Best roll I have tasted in a long time with plenty of tea. Friendly staff with very quick service at a reasonable price.
We were in Dumfries on a very wet day, we needed a dog friendly place to have lunch, The Stove Cafe was one of very few we could find. The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The food was delicious, especially the piri piri stew, and it catered very well for dietary requirements with ve
Fabulous cafe I was on holiday with husband two friends plus dog and wheelchair staff were so helpful and friendly welcomed us with open arms fed and watered dog as well as us !! Food superb and no rushing us out always a bonus!! Thank you 👍🙂
Just had such a warm welcome on a rainy day at Stove Cafe. Friendly helpful staff, delicious chicken stew, cheese toastie, and hot chocolate at Stove Cafe. Colouring for my 3 yr old and a free baby chino. We felt very at home. Just what we needed to have a happy day. Definitely coming back.
Probably the best coffee in town. And I've never had a so much bacon in a single bacon roll. Brilliant! My wife had some healthy yoghurt, minty falafel nonsense and loved it as well. If you're in Dumfries and need a quick bite, head for The Stove.
The staff here are very warm and welcoming. The food is amazing great value for the quality your receiving. They have adapted well to the current circumstances and there is contactless hand sanitiser placed right at the front door. Would recommend this to anyone if they are in the area.
This is great place good food, good coffee, yummy cakes with friendly service. Above all it is a community hub supporting local musicians and artists
