I hosted an Exhibition Launch yesterday for my company Drawing for Enjoyment, my whole experience in dealing with The Usual Place over the last week or so was outstanding.
I have been involved in putting on Exhibitions on and off for the last 30 years, this was by far the easiest, smoothest and most uncomplicated I've experienced, all requests where dealt with the upmost professionalism, communication was easy and most of what I was going to ask to be done had already been sorted out.
The Venue is beautiful and the requested lighting for the evening was perfect, nearly 50 people attended the event and without exception everyone i spoke to commented on how much they loved the setting.
I cannot recommend highly enough The Usual Place, what it does for all the amazing young people that staff the restaurant and kitchen and the amazing team behind the scenes, I will be booking our next Exhibition here without any worries and look forward to dealing with Heather and Craig very soon

This is a must destination and I really love to introduce friends and colleagues to it - ideal place to chill and relax or to have meetings. Incredibly special place, beautiful building talented staff, and lovely food. Very calm atmosphere could just chill and enjoy our food and surroundings.
What a cracking place this is, a great find only a few minutes walk from the train station. The place has been renovated to a very high standard and the food was excellent. The curried squash, lentil and coconut soup was very moorish! Well done and it is great to see you are also doing good for the community - top marks.
Went here for breakfast, great they have vegan options but only had soya milk and they forgot our mushrooms 😂 But great wee place 👍

Went here for an evening cycling event, what a gorgeous building! Set in an old converted church is an cute little cafe and small function space. The staff made me feel welcomed and were very friendly. I'll definitely head back here during the day just to try out the café.
Such a lovely venue for afternoon tea. Sandwiches freshly made, homemade scones and delicious cake. The coffee was spot on.
The service and attention to detail was impeccable.
If you couldn't finish the lovely edibles, you were offered a box to take your food home!

I visited yesterday for lunch with my grandad and the food was amazing!!
We were visiting Dumfries on holiday and had noticed The Usual Place the night before walking into the town centre, and when researching lunch for the next day settled on the Usual Place as we love to support social enterprises.
Overall the trip was extra special as my sister is autistic, but the informative video produced by your trainees helped my grandad learn and understand more about autism and therefore my sister too. Keep up all your hard work!
