This was a solid station to both arrive and depart at, with appropriate sized platforms for the trains! The design is neat, departure boards were up-to-date and the station sign is clear. It is easy accessible from the street and cleanliness had been maintained too!

Good to see the station buildings still surviving, and not bulldozed for the more usual Scotrail windswept tarmac strip. Retaining some period features, but little else. Small ticket office and heated waiting room on Platform 1, many seem to realise it’s not there. Taxis sometimes wait on Bankhead R
Its a good Station. It has a sitting room, cover overhead in case it rains, and a small coffee shop that, besides hot drinks, also sells cakes, sweets, juice, painkillers, tissues, etc. My only advice is if you enjoy a flavoured latte (caramel, hazelnut, etc), ask the guy for just a little syrup and
