The staff is friendly, the food is ok (standard pub food). The place is focused on sports in general and racing in particular. When I was there the pool table was broken.
I would go again if I'm in the area.
Had a great time at the counting house on Saturday. Food was excellent. Nachos were spot on, good variety of food as well as a number of veggie options, staff were so accommodating to our dietary needs. Decent prices for drinks as well. The cocktails are delicious and have a range of alcohol. Shout
Been visiting the counting house on and off for a while now and find that the staff are always up for a laugh. Service is always good and the food is decent too.
Had a wonderful date with my partner and our puppy. The service was courteous and kind and checked on us often after we figured out how to order. 10/10 will be back.
Very nice place, sweet staff and surprisingly cheap but good quality food and drinks. Nice to come back for lunch.

Stopped in here for lunch and found it to be pretty decent. Had a haddock goujons sandwich and a coffee, which was pretty fine! Decent prices and pleasant staff
Best haggis eaten in Scotland was here. Great value for money. No frills pub.
