Lovely place! We stopped here for a late bit after whiskey taste and were welcomed by lovely staff and amazing platter of meat and cheese board. Cocktails were not only delicious but presented in such a fun way! Strongly recommended!

Love this place, food authentic and simple but absolute top noch quality. Service of Mrs Rosemunde and her brother was fabulous. Try also the single malt Balvenie tastings with the cheese platter

Me and my friends visited this place on a whisky trip to dufftown. Nice bar with good selections of malt whisky and beer. Food tasted also very good. Compliments to the chef! :) We felt very welcome, and will visit again next time we are around! Keep up the good work!! - Highly recomended!

The whisky and chocolate marriage is a match made in heaven. The food was made from the heart and so yummy and fresh. Home made bread and home grown carrot soup. Delicious! Ros was the perfect host and Patrick (the chef) even came out to have a chat. So welcoming. If you're nearby to Dufftown you must try this place.

Fantastic. A great variety of Scottish beers, wines, whisky, gin and vodka as well as an extensive menu of great tasting food. Try the thistle wine!

We just had a lovely late lunch today and it was perfect . Nearly missed this excellent restaurant and what a shame that would have been. Had smoked salmon pate. Delicious and homemade along with homemade tomato bread. Soup was lovely too. We will be back for sure and highly recommend it for a visit. Owners very very nice and welcoming.

J'ai eut l'occasion de goûter aux merveilleux plats du chef français au seven stills ! De beaux plats copieux et délicieux, un accueil très agréable et beaucoup de whisky à déguster ! Ils font aussi des soirées : mariage du chocolat et du whisky ! Très enrichissant, j'espère y retourner un jour

Very good whisky, gin and bottled ale selection. Coffee also superb. My game stew was delicious as was my wife's 'stoved chicken'. My a flambé Glenfarcas cake ignited at the table was out of this world. The only minuscule hint of a criticism is that my wife night have preferred her rhubarb crumble warm with ice cream. It was also apparently delicious though. The ambience was so chilled and all the little seemingly slightly random touches in decor and objects etc left me regretting that we had to return home. I think a B&B visit is on order some time soon.

One of the best places for dinner in Dufftown. Highly recommend as a must visit. Let Rose and Patrick look after you and feed you. One of the best dinners and relaxing evenings I’ve had. Not a place to visit in a rush, they have one seating per night and encourage guests to relax and have a enjoyable dinner.

We had a blast! I can really recommend the whisky & chocolate pairing. Rose made us feel like at home - played some board games, had some really good drinks and delicious tapas. We‘ll defineteley return next time we‘re in Dufftown. Lots of love from Germany!

Since moving to Moray just over a year ago, we've been looking for a really special restaurant. We most definitely found that last night! Rose welcomed us into their beautiful restaurant and Patrick (the incredible chef) came out during each course to tell us about the food (for example, the five different types of mint leaves that went into the sauce on my lamb shank). Everything is made from scratch using the freshest incredients. It's rare to find that kind of passion for cooking/providing such a memorable dining experience, but Rose and Patrick have really got it right. We will most definitely be back!

Once again we were invited into Rose and Patrick’s home turned private supper club for a delightful escape to French classics with a Scottish twist. We dined on Salade de crottin de Chavignol – grilled goats cheese salad; Traditional French onion soup , croûtons, gruyère; Lasagne de chevreuil – local Scottish wild venison lasagna; Bœuf bourguignon – Burgundy beef cooked in wine. Chef’s granny’s recipe made with local Scottish beef and one of the best Tiramisu’s with chocolate Stoit and Drambue. Thanks again for a delightful evening and until next time.

A very warm welcome in a lovingly decorated space. Prices are a little high and the pre-ordering concept a little unusual, but Rose‘s warm hospitality certainly make up for that. Recommended.

We had a fantastic dinner at the seven stills. They have recently redecorated and they opened up just for our dinner group. The inside was beautifully decorated with a very homey vibe. The whisky selection is incredible and the food was excellent. Snails from France, incredible French onion soup and other great starters. The highlight was the beef bourguignon. This was the chefs family recipe and prepared/cooked for a week. Desserts were also great with the cheese plate (best bread ever) and crème brûlée. Highly recommend all to visit this great restaurant!

This restaurant and the staff are 5*. The lamb shank was delicious, and even more so when the chef came round to explain how it was prepared. So much love and attention goes in to every aspect of this place - from the decoration and furnishings, to the whisky selection, and finally - to the food! You must go here.

Best restaurant in dufftown, French kitchen but with a good whisky bar as well. Remember to book table it is a very small restaurant.

My brother-in-law booked dinner for four of us, and we were absolutely delighted. A warm welcome awaited behind the black door, excellent service and the food was just unbelievable. Thanks to Rose & Patrick for your hospitality, hopefully I’ll be back in 2024! I can’t recommend Seven Stills highly enough.

Genuinely stunning from start to finish. Rose was kind and welcoming from the moment she replied to my initial email to the moment she sent us off after our meal. Every dish was perfectly seasoned and clearly made with love, and we loved finishing our evening off with a whisky and chocolate pairing in the lounge. Rose and Patrick have something really special here- I'm grateful to them for sharing it with us.
