Excellent course. Not the longest in the world, but technical with sloped fairways. The technically gifted will have a significant reward. Nice clubhouse with friendly staff.
Great course with some quirky holes. Greens are quite fast without being too scary and run well. The course is basically built on the side of a hill, so be ready for a good walk - worth it though when you get the fabulous views from the holes at the top. Nice bar / conservatory to relax in after you
Course was open and playable when most others have been shut for days due to waterlogging. Nice layout with interesting holes, good choice of beers and a really well cooked meal afterwards.
Great golf course with true fast greens. On at least 6 holes expect a good tee shot down the middle to end up in the rough since you climb up a hillside before working your way back down. Lovely club house with friendly staff and great food.
I don't play golf but often walk the chevin and through the beautifully kept golf course. The views around this area are simply stunning and the manicured golf course fits beautifully into the durrounding landscape and compliments it rather than intrudes on it. Well done to the green keepers
Played our first round at Chevin yesterday. Loved it. Such a pretty course in lovely surroundings. Not over priced. In good condition. Will definitely return again soon.
We play a lot of open competitions a year and two of the Lad's had never played Chevin before so I booked us into an open. The day from start to finish was second to none.We were made to feel extremely welcome by all the staff from the club house to the well stocked Pro shop then a starter that was
Billed as a very welcoming course, and guess what? It really is!
Enjoyable autumnal round, members very welcoming, super lunch in the bar, recommend.
Visited here sadly for a wake, but food was very good, drinks reasonably priced. Lovely location and views across the golf course.
