Popped in on Saturday lunchtime for a quick bite to eat. Was a lovely summers day so sat outside under a parasol. We enjoyed a cold beer & a coffee then our meals came very quickly. It was fairly busy without being cramped, just perfect. Very friendly staff with a warm welcome. Will go back soon. Thanks Bridge Inn staff

Lunchtime Today The Bridge Inn, love the location it has a nice decor and a spacious riverside patio. The food was delicious and those that love their Steak Blue will be pleased to know the Chef pulls it off perfectly. The service was friendly and attentive. We had the Baked Cambert to share as a starter and the sprig of Rosemary gave it a hint of fragrant flavor very nice start to the meal. Tom and I had the Surf and Turf though I subbed Sweat Potato Fries the Steak was great and loved the Crispy Fried King Prawns the accompanying Chimichuri sauce was a little bland compared to others I've had didn't taste Evan a hint of Garlic. Mum went for the Gluten-free Royale Chicken Tikka Masala which she thoroughly enjoyed. For dessert, Mum went with the GF Sticky Toffee Pudding and I had the Dark Chocolate Delice which was Topped with Popcorn both were excellent. They have a Lunch/ Early Dinner Deal of 2 courses at £15 or 3 courses at £17.50. Highly recommend a visit.

A first visit, after cycling passed many times, and really enjoyed it. Sat outside by the river which is always good to. Tables and chairs were clean and comfy. The nice touch for me was the space afforded to each table so you could position the parasol to your liking even if it wasn’t dead centre of your table. Ordered at bar to a cheery person. Had the chicken/chorizo kebab, cheeseburger with bacon and buttermilk strips. Came swiftly and loved it, looked like a small portion but once eaten, more would have been a waste. Super tasty for me. Will be back for sure.

The pub was quiet when we arrived. Even so I was really impressed with the speed and quality of service. The food was hot and delicious and the beer well kept. The staff were all wonderful, friendly and helpful. A great experience

We arrived a bit early and the table was ready for us. There were eight of us. Food was promptly served. Staff were lovely. Everyone really enjoyed their meal and drinks. It was the first time we had all been together since the death of my husband in June. Thanks to the staff we all left happy.

There is no faults or criticism I can even think of. The waiting staff are extremely friendly and attentive. The food is good quality and plenty of room in the seating area - you’re not crammed in. Maybe have the facilities to add a tip to the card machine as id have like to have left a bigger tip than the cash I had on me allowed. We were a group of 7 (6 adults and 1 infant) and all the food came out at the same time and very promptly. Car park had plenty of spaces. Overall, I do not hesitate in giving a 10/10 for this bridge inn and will look forward to our next visit. Thank you to all the staff

Excellent location with splendid food and great service!! Celebrated my 19th birthday here. Upon request we were given the best spot of the pub. The restaurant has the classic pub vibe and was decked up well for Christmas. The ambience is great! The staff is kind and lovely. The service was quick as well. They have a varied menu with a variety of flavours - pub classics, burgers, steak etc. We ordered a Korean Style BBQ Cauliflower Wings, Veggie Burger, Bourbon-Glazed Chicken and Chicken & Chorizo Kebab all of which was extremely delicious. The prices are decent as well for the quality of food and service provided. Would definitely recommend this place.

Went here on Saturday 16th to celebrate a birthday as a group of 5 and could not have had a nicer meal. The server was brilliant, really helpful and funny and the food.... WOW! I had the soup of the day which was Butternut Squash and was hands down the nicest soup I've ever had. For mains I had the pie of the day which was steak and ale... oh my gosh it was incredible. Everything was cooked to perfection and we will definitely be back!!

Came in today (Saturday 28th oct) for a meal. From the minute we walked in the lady who dealt with us was absolutely lovely. And made sure our table had enough room for our pushchair (thank you) they offered table service for drinks too which was great. The gentleman that served us, sorry I didn’t get his name but he had a nightmare before Christmas shirt on 😂 he was so lovely and a great staff member. Not only was he professional but he was also great and fast with the other tables too. The food was 10/10. Every single one of us enjoyed our meals as they were lovely. They even brought out the children’s first. Will definitely be back again. Thank you for a lovely time.don’t understand why this place doesn’t have 5*

Lovely situated place by the river, staff are very welcoming, polite and helpful, kept tables clear and clean as quick as they could always on the ball. Food was spot on, we had pie of the day, steak n ale with extra chips, delicious! And the sunday roast was not at all to fault, only thing could say to make this place better would be to bring the prices of drinks down and the prices of food down slightly, then it’d be 110%.

Called for Sunday lunch. Service was good and appropriately paced. We all ordered roast dinner, 5 of the 6 of us had roast beef. The vegetables were nicely cooked and plenty of them, the beef looked fine but it was really tough and with the cutlery provided it was difficult to cut. Desserts were nice. If I come again and the beef is as tough as this Time I will ask to change it for a different meat.

Wonderful atmosphere, loads of food and a lovely area to sit outside. We both had the salt and pepper calamari which was delicious. The roast beef dinner was lovely although I have to be honest it was rather chewy. Overall though I can't complain. Two starters, two mains and a bottle of wine was £72.00 A good size carpark too 😊
