A first visit, after cycling passed many times, and really enjoyed it. Sat outside by the river which is always good to. Tables and chairs were clean and comfy. The nice touch for me was the space afforded to each table so you could position the parasol to your liking even if it wasn’t dead centre o
Really good food if you go on a Sunday worth booking in advance The food is very good The only thing was it was a little warm inside but best Sunday lunch had in a while
At the end of a long walk, the pub was a welcome site. The food was excellent & so was hospitality. Reasonably price.Lovely outside area by the river. Highly recommend 👌
The pub was quiet when we arrived. Even so I was really impressed with the speed and quality of service. The food was hot and delicious and the beer well kept. The staff were all wonderful, friendly and helpful. A great experience

We arrived a bit early and the table was ready for us. There were eight of us. Food was promptly served. Staff were lovely. Everyone really enjoyed their meal and drinks. It was the first time we had all been together since the death of my husband in June. Thanks to the staff we all left happy.
There is no faults or criticism I can even think of. The waiting staff are extremely friendly and attentive. The food is good quality and plenty of room in the seating area - you’re not crammed in. Maybe have the facilities to add a tip to the card machine as id have like to have left a bigger tip t

Called for Sunday lunch. Service was good and appropriately paced. We all ordered roast dinner, 5 of the 6 of us had roast beef. The vegetables were nicely cooked and plenty of them, the beef looked fine but it was really tough and with the cutlery provided it was difficult to cut. Desserts were
Wonderful atmosphere, loads of food and a lovely area to sit outside. We both had the salt and pepper calamari which was delicious. The roast beef dinner was lovely although I have to be honest it was rather chewy. Overall though I can't complain. Two starters, two mains and a bottle of wine was £72
