Absolutely love it. We came for a team work meal on a Thursday night got a discount for ordering before 6ish and the food quality and taste was amazing!! Everyone really enjoyed their meals. It was warm and cosy with a lovely subdued atmosphere. The bar area looked very welcoming too. Thank you for having us 😊

It's taken us ages to actually get round to booking a table but decided to take our friend here for his birthday. We were really impressed with the food and the service. I had a steak which was cooked perfectly and the chips and onion rings were amazing. The rest of the meals were great and it's a lovely atmosphere and the staff were lovely. To top it off they even brought out a surprise dessert with a candle on for the birthday boy. Thanks for a great meal.

First time eating here, decided to go due to recommendations of friends. The food was delicious, antipasto then rib eye steaks and carbonara. Steaks (cooked perfectly) came with lovely mushrooms, tomatoes and fries, the pepper sauce was delicious as well. It wasn't cheap (£120 for 3 people, 2 large wines, 2 pints and coke) but I'd rather go out once a month and eat this food than every week and eat rubbish! Would definitely recommend.

A lovely Italian restaurant attached to a busy vibrant pub. The food is excellent & traditionally Italian. If you want Italian foodd cooked very well this is the place to come in this part of the country. A little pricey but then everywhere is at the moment for this stereotypical Yorkshireman.

Great meal out with family for a catch-up and so pleased we ate here. Good selection of food, great service and decor. Meal was served really quickly and portion sizes were brilliant. I had the chicken livers, bacon and brandy cream sauce for start then pollo cardinale for main. Can heartily recommend both of them ! It's not the cheapest place to eat but the overall bill was ok for the portion sizes.

Wow! Went today with my Dad, bit of a late Christmas present. Was not disappointed. Sunday, you have the choice of the normal menu or the Sunday menu. My partner and I had off the standard menu, my dad and other half had the Sunday menu. OMG, even thou our food was amazing, we had food envy. So much so we are looking to go back next week for the roast! Staff are lovely and attentive. We will be going back!!!

Been to Angelos many times and the food is always delicious but we went last night, for two peoples birthdays, for various reasons we had only brought one person presents that night. I also hadn’t mentioned it was a birthday on the booking but the staff brought out a lovely birthday pudding board, we asked for a second spoon for the other birthday person and they then brought a second one out which was so kind and generous.

Gorgeous meal. Food was fresh, tasty. Staff and service excellent. On a rainy day. We were kept warm and safe undercover outside as lockdown restrictions are eased. This is now one of our new favourite places.

Wonderful food and good service, I had the Burrata for starter and the signature Tagliatelle Angelo as a main, generous portions. Restaurant a tad noisy and it wasn't that clear how to get into it at first, but a great place!

Great service, we had roast beef, only point I would make is too less beef and too much gravy. Very welcoming. Make sure you have cash for a tip.

Just experienced a lovely lunch at Angelos . Was worried about eating al fresco but the covered area with heaters was amazing. The food was tasty and piping hot. Will definitely be returning. Thank you

First time eating here and it warrants the full 5 stars. Varied menu which includes traditional Italian classics plus some more adventurous options - spoilt for choice in a good way. Ideal that it’s twinned with the King’s Head pub enabling you chance to relax with a drink or two before sitting down for food. We were served promptly by friendly staff, the food came out quickly (but not too quickly) and was beautifully served, authentic Italian food. Nice ambience inside, smart but relaxed. Sealing the deal for me was that they had bottled Peroni red - rare in the U.K. but the best beer to have with Italian food! Well done to the team at Angelo’s, you’ve got it nailed!

Very good food and excellent friendly service. Atmosphere lacking but it was a Sunday evening although really thought it would be busier.

Booked a table for 4 of us here and amended it without any problems to 2 people. Lovely table on the raised platform in the restaurant which was nice as it was a little quieter and not on the bustling main floor. Calamari was delicious and the mixed seafood linguini was very very good. We also had the penne pasta with meatballs and they were divine. Fell apart as you ate them and the generous offering of parmesan is always good. Cracking service, delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. Book ahead to avoid disappointment

Wow, wow, wow! If you are reading this you need to stop reading and book this place. The restaurant is fantastic, the decor, the staff, the food, the warm welcome, it is all amazing. I cannot recommend Angelo's enough and we will definitely be returning.
