Service was friendly and attentive, couldn't apologise more for the slight wait on food, which we didn't mind as it was delicious and really reasonable for the price! Will visit again. I had the Philly cheese steak and it was very good!
Great find, I loved my 1st visit here the food was top notch. The view from the restaurant across the lawn bowls green was lovely. The staff were excellent.. definitely will visit the Woodman again

Popped in here on a cheeky lunchtime for a Gammon, Chicken & Mustard pie with chips, gravy, peas and a pint of lager. Mmmmmm! Delicious! ๐๐ผ Great service and prices too! Highly recommended. ๐

Lovely pub, lovely staff so accommodating. Absolutely love the welcome feeling from all the staff.Foods great and they always make you feel at home deffo a place to recommend for friends and family for a good time. You can always guarantee a laugh on karaoke on a Friday and a good dance.Always my go to place :) Thank you chas and Nathan for making the woodman great!!
Popped in for a bite to eat , the food was lovely ! Great steak deal with a drink on a Thursday evening ๐ gave the quiz ago which was great ! Staff were very accommodating and friendly ๐ Iโll defo be returning next Thursday for the quiz and some fab food and drinks ๐๐
Nathan and Chas, the new managers, were brilliant. So welcoming, polite and helpful when I was choosing what drink to have. I have not tried the food yet, but the meals I saw coming out of the kitchen looked delicious. I will be going back next week to try something myself. I definitely would recommend you visit.
The staff was very friendly and helpful the young lady went out of her way to help my wife as well with some plasters from the first aid so a warm thank you to her we will be back again beer was really nice many thanks

Brilliant place and most of the staff were great. However 1 barman really bought the evening down. One of our friends forgot their ID and we had no issue with changing their drink to a soft drink however the barman was rude and made it quite clear he had no time for us
We havenโt lived in the area for long but we have now visited the Woodman for food on two separate occasions and must say we have been pleasantly surprised!
The staff have been extremely friendly, the food is piping hot and good value for money.
The interior is a bit dated & very โtiredโ but it is clean and bright throughout.
The majority of the clientele in the evening are young but we did not feel out of place.
We will definitely be using the Woodman much more in the future!
My husband was missing an item off the meal he had and when it came to desserts, myself and our daughter were missing an item off that aswell. We had to ask what happened to those items, luckily they did send out the missing items. Food was lovely just portions were a bit small
Brilliant afternoon had by all only thing missing was a Steam Engine the day I was there no Steam .
