Excellent service and atmosphere in the pub. Food was simple but tasty. Massive portions. Sunday roast was yummy but desserts were all a bit too sweet and not worth it. Rest of the food was great so I would definitely return. Book ahead, was busy when we visited on a Sunday.
Safe to say we had one of the best soups we've had in a while (curried parsnip). Paired with some chips, giant onion rings and a pint of IPA it was the perfect little dinner we were looking for. Thanks a lot! Warm and welcoming staff. Would definitely come back the next time. Make sure you book a ta
I'd heard so many great things about this place and made it a point to visit while on the West Highland Way. We'd booked a table which was lucky because its really popular. On arrival we were greeted and shown to our table. On the way to our seats literally every member of staff we passed made an ef
Its the best! We love it there and pop around a couple of times a month for a meal. Lovely friendly and helpful staff, great menu and delicious, tasty, well presented food. The atmosphere in the restaurant is fantastic. One tip though, I'd highly recommend booking in advance. The Clachan is ver
This is the place to eat in Drymen particularly for dinner. The restaurant is cozy, warm and the perfect place after a day of walking or touring. It is good to have a reservation as it was packed even on a weekday during non-peak season. Both the soup and gnocchi were good, but on the salty end.
definitely a must.
the staff extremely friendly and fast.
Always trying to ask if everything is ok.
very polite even in stressful moments.
the ambience extremely pleasant and elegant.
typically Scottish in the bar area, people like to drink and talk.

The staff are very confident and friendly, couldn’t be happier to accommodate if possible! But the food!! 5⭐️ without a d
Outstanding! Staying in a holiday cottage in Drymen for a week, upon reading the visitors book, every previous visitor said the same thing,"You have to eat at the Clachan". A beautiful old inn, oldest licensed inn in Scotland. The staff are extremely friendly & welcoming, the food menu is impressive
