Excellent food and service accommodated 30 people for my sons 21st birthday staff really friendly and reasonably priced quick service also thank you I recommend Giovanni and will be back also people who came with me said that they would return
Giovannis is a fabulous restaurant with a fabulous menu and great delicious food. Friendly competent efficient staff who make your visit a great one.
I've been coming to this restaurant over the years since it opened many years ago and it just goes from strength to strength.
Being a coeliac I struggle to eat in lots of restaurants as they don't cater for my needs.
But here they are brilliant and will do there upmost to please .
I was there last night for my daughter and future son in laws belated engagement party. There was a large party of us but the food was served all together with no one sat waiting. And as always it was fabulous.

Our family favourite go to place where fresh delicious home cooked Italian food is served with a smile and friendly warm greeting each and every time. Book early to avoid disappointment, however they will always try their best to squeeze you in if they can.

Are here with family on Sunday we booked as there was 6 of us,never been before we were greeted with a very friendly waiter who showed us to our table.We all chose the 3 courses for £20.95p each plenty of choice.all the food was delicious and hot too staff were attentive also very reasonably priced would definitely come again and recommend.There is parking across the road from the restaurant which is handy.
Giovanni’s is a lovely, family-run restaurant in the centre of Droylsden, and is somewhere I go regularly (and have done for years) with friends, family
The food is always fresh, cooked to order and added to the warm, friendly service... what’s not to like?!

Always had a nice meal and service is good , had a few Xmas day dinners here but last year they packed too many tables together and you were too close to next table for my likening , won't be going again
Had a great meal tonight including :-
2 starters,2 mains ,1 garlic bread and 3 drinks.
Came to £28.40. Bargain :)
Ate here with my wife on a Saturday night. It was busy but not overly so. The atmosphere was good. We had starters of ribs and pate very nice. Main course lasagne and a chicken dish which was recommended- tasty. Its a bit out of the way but was worth the journey. Staff were attentive as well.
Been to giovannis a few times now and each time we've really loved it. Really good food and I found the prices lower than other places I've been. Will go again without question. Recommend to everyone.
A family affair. The owner was chef for the night & his son one of three friendly, attentive waiters. The food was was excellent. Hot, tasty, good sized portions. Thirty other diners all seemed to enjoy themselves as we did, judging by the banter & the empty plates. Good well lit car park to the rear.Rustic & intimate rather than fine dining but I would rather eat here than in some restaurants

Visited on a Sunday around 5pm. Nice atmosphere with mix of ages, family groups and couples. Service was friendly and quick. Food was excellent, my pasta dish was as good as I've had anywhere. Reasonably priced too. Highly recommended.

It was Sunday and me and Fabienne decided a pasta would be good. Fabienne chose Giovanni's. I'd not been there for 20 years or my wife either. Well it has undergone refurbishment; tiled floors, new bar on entering and the kitchen as is the trend, before your eyes. We were greeted by Grace and led to our table by the owner a nice gentleman who we learned was half Italian and family from Genoa as was my wife. Well the cannelloni I had was piping hot and my wife's was Penne Pasta with Salmon, this was preceded by my Garlic Mushrooms in a lovely sauce, my wife chose oysters, again served piping hot, as is my want for hot food. Portions were right and sufficient, Fabienne did ask and received extra Salmon from the young lady waitress Nadia. It was definitely comparable with the Italian restaurants we'd visited before, and we reflected that we'd felt more at home and treated better than counterparts we'd visited in Venice, where the prices and availability of a table had been less than desirable.
It's nice to know that we can be entreated to a very good standard Italian dish on our doorstep and will visit again. Furthermore my siccillian Lemon Cheesecake was indeed scintillating with a delicious raspberry sauce, and complimentary serving of vanilla ice cream. Service was quick and staff pleasant, although a bit hurried! I got the impression that there was a certain, how would you say transition in staff, but this wasn't a problem and they acquitted themselves well.
The amount of £54 total, which had included two small glasses of white wine, Pinot Grigio for me and a regular house white for Fabienne, followed by coffee, very happy with the price! Will come again. I'd only rang to check availability fifteen minutes before.
So ver happy with our decision to have a meal at Don Giovanni's!
Dined here in September. I can honestly say Ive never been made to feel so welcome in a restaurant. Lovely people. Best garlic bread we have ever tasted. Daughter said same about her lasagne. Pasta meal was delicious. Cosy restaurant with warm friendly atmosphere. Staff so friendly we were nervous about eating out on our own in an unfamiliar city made our evening very enjoyable. Thanks Guys

It's so good to find a restaurant like this still exists. Where good service and excellent food come together. It's light and airy and so clean. Nothing is too much trouble but all done with minimum fuss. Our grand children love the place and are very relaxed there. I love the seafood risotto, best I've had in years.

By far the best restaurant I have ever been to, the service and hospitality was amazing as soon as you walk through the door you feel welcomed and at ease. Extremely relaxed and laid back vibe topped off with polite, attentive staff. The food was unreal I had a steak and my party had pizza, spaghetti and fish dishes and all were beyond exquisite, perfectly presented and the flavours were out of this world! I couldn’t recommend this place enough and will be going back there at weekend for a birthday meal. Thankyou to Faris the owner and his team for the whole evening it was amazing from start to finish and I can’t wait to eat here again and see you all soon,
