Nice pub with cheap early bar prices before 7pm … would give 5 stars but as a dart player the dart board isn’t in good condition and the tv on the wall don’t help 🙃and the score board has no batteries in 😂 but it’s a nice pub and the pool tables a good addition, plenty of space outside for seating 👍

We visited this lovely pub today as were holidaying in the local area. We were looking for somewhere that was very dog friendly and this place did not disappoint! Drinks only pub dating to the 15th century. Very cosy with friendly bar staff and frequented by a wide age range. Always live music / DJ at the weekends.
Visited, on a Friday night, several times now, I think it's my new home pub. They have a disco, which is nice, but for me, the main selling point is: The lovely staff, wonderful landlady & nice clientele. I feel totally comfortable & at home there. I can't recommend it enough.
