Just had a late lunch with family. First time here and will definately be back. Lovely bunch of friendly helpful staff really made it a lovely experience x we all enjoyed our meals x
Fantastic staff, very friendly. This pub is beautifully clean, it has a lovely relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast is the best I've had! so tasty & fresh. I would definitely recommend.
Reasonably priced food, less sticky tables than the Drakehouse Mill but same old sticky cutlery which could be better quality, as the forks are thin and spin round in your fingers. Was charged for 2 Half's of lager, Stella and Coors, but we had a coffee and a tea. Only noticed when home, ah well !
The scampi was good, the mini mixed grill was also good and plenty of food overall. Would come back.

Came here last week for a meal with family. Nice food and really helpful staff, was talking to a really lovely lady I think her name was abby about the pub. Really polite and friendly.
We had a wacky warehouse 4th birthday party and it was amazing, really good value for money. Our 6 year old wants his next party here. The staff were so lovely and helpful. Thank you

We eat at the chequers every week the staff are all amazing and welcoming and nothing is too much. The food is always cooked as requested definitely our favourite place to eat

I had the quadzillia burger, which was soooooo big I had to break down.
All burgers come with fries.
I also ordered a sharing platter that had about 7 or 8 different things on.
I didn't make it to the desert. I got a case of "eyes too big for bellie"
You order your food at the bar, and they bring it to your type of place. It was very quick (15-16 minutes), but it was only 1 pm on a Wednesday.
The atmosphere was calming. Mainly elderly at that time. It's 70 restaurants 30 pub/bar environment but it was clean and the tables and booths were well spread.
Amazing local play area. Friendly and helpful staff. My child absolutely loves it here, we are always made to feel welcome
Has been ages since we visited last food as good as ever the staff were better and extremely friendly - the building is starting to look tired and in need of a refresh

Brilliant service, super friendly, decent food and lovely calm atmosphere. Abigail and Paul are especially lovely but the whole staff team is great.
