So excited to finally get a chance to try the cheeseboard this eve, superb! Really loved the feel of the place and thought the blown up photography was fantastic, high five for the music too, really set a chilled mood, looking forward to the next time we can get in to try the gin I spotted!!! Thanks for our cheeky wee treat x

Visited Barrel & Bean for the first time as a walk-in for brunch today and was pleasantly surprised by both the high standard and fantastic taste of both the food and coffee! The cafe itself has a car park behind the building, which was very convenient. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would visit again!

Simple menu but the food is really delicious and the staff are nice and friendly. The environment is nicely done up. Bathrooms are downstairs, very clean, with wheelchair accessible option.
Beautiful, fresh tasty food. Reasonably priced and great staff. Pretty place with a lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be back and I highly recommend a visit.
Pet / dog friendly cafe and shop on the ground floor. Staff and locals are friendly. Recommend the pancakes, they were delicious and decent portion size.
Great service, food high standard, can recommend the full fry. Moved to new location in Church Street, which has large rear carpark that can be used for parking bicycles. Coffee topup on request alway a bonus. Highly recommended as a cycling stop. Not open on Sunday.

Fantastic. Great friendly and professional service without being intrusive. Great to see so many customers and had to open upstairs seating. Fantastic food, looking forward to speedy return for lunchtime menu options! So good i even forgot to take photos of poached and sourdough and my scone and coffee. Been looking forward to coming, totally filled my wish list. 😋😋😋😋😋
It's the second time we've been in this café/restaurant and it is a fantastic spot to go for a bite to eat. The staff are friendly and pleasant. I would highly recommend this place👌
