Nestled alongside the picturesque canal, with tables overlooking the serene waters, creates a tranquil escape from the bustling world. The selection of hot beverages and the English traditional cakes is a delightful surprise for any dessert lover. The first time we dropped by with our narrowboat, it was to taste Andy’s scones. Unfortunately, they were sold out ☹ but it gave us the chance to taste the delicious toasted tea cake and sultana cake. Seeing we really wanted to taste his scones, he put a few scones with strawberry jam and clothed cream aside two days later and on our way back we collected them, what a lovely gesture!! They were an absolute delight :) Thank you so much Andy for everything, we definitevely recommend this place!!!

What a fantastic canal trip! I booked the afternoon tea for my Mums birthday treat. She loved it. The boat is superb, and really tastefully decorated. The hospitality, sandwiches, cakes and tea were faultless. Actually, I'd say the nicest cakes and scones I've had. I can't recommend the trip enough, and will definitely book again. Thanks Andy and Caroline for making it such a special day.

Had an amazing evening last night on board the beautifully presented barge Patricia, for the Fizz & Nibbles Friday cruise. Andy was very welcoming and skippered effortlessly. Inside the barge is immaculate and very tastefully and professionally kitted out. Caroline was the perfect host and the food was stylishly laid out. Nothing was too much trouble and at the end of the meal the coffees flowed. A thoroughly delightful evening. Thank you Andy & Caroline. We will be returning again for sure.

Had a lovely picnic afternoon on this purpose built boat. Everything is immaculate including the on-board toilet. Caroline was the perfect hostess, ensuring we had a plentiful supply of drinks. Picnic was excellent too - most of it home made and very tasty. Sun was shining. Lovely way to spend 2.5 hours. Thank you - we will be back

Me and the family booked the picnic on the boat, from start to finish we received 5 star treatment. The food was of the highest quality, the boat itself was superb and most of all were well looked after by Caroline who worked extremely hard and catered for all our needs. We all received plenty to food & drink whilst enjoying the boat trip its self. This is a fantastic experience and i would highly recommend it anyone. We will be booking it again in the very near future. Thanks Again.

Afternoon tea and a lovely long cruise up the canal on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, perfection. I love my afternoon teas, but this is the best one I have had, the barge spotlessly clean, hosts so friendly, and the cakes and sandwiches were perfect, as much tea and coffee as you can drink, as I don't drink either I was so pleased that there were fruit teas available too. I have never felt so relaxed and could not fault this in any way. Thank you soooo much.
