Lovely place to stay, rooms have everything you need and more, comfy bed and pillows, all the toiletries you need in bathroom and really nice quality. Homemade gluten-free, vegan biscuits to have with you cuppa and fresh milk in a flask. Breakfast included, great menu to. Have stayed a few times now
We did a family Sunday lunch in the bar (4 of us plus our toy poodle). The service was friendly and efficient, the food was surprisingly good (choice of roast) and the price fair. This is a lovely English country pub and I would be very happy to take visitors, including from overseas, to eat there
We stayed overnight on the way to the Lake district, the pub is close to the M6 but in a lovely rural setting. The room was very comfortable and large. The breakfast was great and the whole experience was good value for money. `Butcombe bitter outstanding! Stay only marred by a somewhat ordinary eve

We only stopped for 1 night to break a long car journey. Nice room, friendly service, good beer and good food. Peaceful surroundings, just 10 mins or so from the M5 by car.
We have just enjoyed a Sunday lunch for 6 for our first visit. The inn itself is lovely and the staff could not have been better. The roast was really good and came quickly - and who can resist a yummy pudding !!
Arrived at the hotel, staff member was very welcoming answered all our queries, booked our taxi for us. Very polite and attentive. Room beautiful and clean.
