Reasonably priced food. I had a rare 9oz ribeye steak followed by a good slice of chocolate fudge cake. Friendly staff and quick and easy service - I ordered using the Greene King app.
Popped in for lunch, great food, staff were brilliant. Craig deserves a special mention for his excellent customer service and attention to detail. He's a fantastic advert for the pub. We have visited several times and look forward to visiting again. 😀
I visited the castle whilst working in the area and can honestly say the team were brilliant. I was alone but made to feel very welcome and even had conversations with some locals. I ate the boneless wings and a chicken flatbread which were served promptly and by a smiley waitress. I’ll look forwar

Third occasion the team from Wright Freight have met for a bite to eat and a bit of team bonding after work. Always felt welcome and the food has always been great, We always have the challenges on a Friday, they are Big well cooked portions and the staff have always been very helpful. Would advise

Absolutely brilliant. If I'd known how good it was I would have visited a long time ago. My son struggled to eat all of the xl mixed grill and the rump steak was cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and attentive. I will become I regular visitor from now on.
