One of our favourite unplanned teatime places. Friendly, helpful staff and nice menu with decent portions. Suitable for all ages but I suggest if bringing children sitting in the restaurant as the bar conversations can become a bit leery and unmanaged :(

We took all the family for Christmas Day. We were pleased with the service. Staff were pleasant and efficient, nothing too much trouble; very attentive. We enjoyed the food; the main course carvery servings were generous. The starters and desserts were lovely. A good effort from our local eatery, and we are pleased to have supported them. The experience has been good value- for- money. No complaints at all, and a big thank you to all the staff; we thoroughly enjoyed it. We will go there in future for our Christmas Day meal! (party of 11)

Well we stayed in the premier Inn for 2 nights and ate in the brewers fayre next door, the food was cooked to perfection nothing was a problem to make our meal and visit satisfying big thanks to Paul and the staff worth the visit
