Excellent place for Socialising, eating, drinking parties functions and Weddings. I had my wedding in the dining room and funtion in the town hall building which is all part of the Bell Hotel. They are Very welcomIng and friendly. Love popping in and talking to the owners and chilling. Its an old fashioned building which has everything going for it. Well worth visiting and even staying overnight.

Can not praise the staff enough for all their help yesterday! Came in with my three young girls for Sunday lunch and every staff member I met was beyond brilliant, making sure I had plenty of space for the pram (we had walked down), enabling me to get my girls their lunch sorted before beginning to plate mine up and just being generally brilliant! We had an amazing time which was only made better with the great atmosphere with the football! Thankyou!!

Lovely staff, querky hotel with history you just don’t find these days. Nice to see a hotel that preserves its character and values it’s querks. Not everyone wants to stay in a plain boring white room like travel lodges. A real experience to explore the history of this hotel and it’s relevance to the market town of driffield where it’s based. Food always tastes delicious food salad bar and what I have tried that’s been cooked too. Customer service of a high standard throughout from check in, to the bar, to the restaurant and Spa :-) x

Stopped here twice when working in a nearby village. It's very querky inside with some great original features and lots of character. The rooms are a little old fashioned but fits well with the building itself. Free use of the spa and gym, which is always nice to unwind after a days work. Also, we got to have a couple of games of snooker, which is usable for people staying. Very friendly helpful staff

We had an incredible time staying in this fascinating hotel! It is filled to the brim with items of interest, charming details and rich story. Every corner we turned there was something new to look at and it filled us with joy! Our room was spotless, full of character and very generous in size. We stayed for dinner and cocktails and thoroughly enjoyed everything! The food was excellent and beautifully presented and the staff were lovely. Staying in and playing games in the bar was a perfect end to our day. Breakfast was just as excellent and we even got a hash brown bonus, that wasn’t on the menu! I had forgotten my toothbrush and the staff sorted me out with a new brush and a toothpaste. We loved the hotel, the beautiful friendly people, the food and most of all the charm of everything brought together. Thank you everyone for looking after us!

Cannot comment on rooms, but very nice old fashioned interior,in what I think is one of driffield oldest buildings,an old coach house,I think bang in the towns centre.

This is certainly an old fashioned hotel, restaurant and bar but that is just part of it's character. It does smell a little musty but the rooms are huge and beds are comfortable. The room I was in had a bedroom, bathroom and a separate, smaller sitting room. The spa and swimming area are in a separate building to the main entrance. On a weekday they close the spa at 7pm but weekends is 5pm. Located right in the centre of town.

My best friend and I shared a truely wonderful pamper day, included in the package we had bought was a lunch- sandwich, use of spa facilities and we had added a massage at a very low extra cost. All aspects of our experience was amazing, what a hidden gem the Bell Hotel is. We both would highly recommend the spa and the food to anyone and the staff are brilliant, so warm, welcoming and really go out of their way to explain everything and certainly make you feel at ease. Overall amazing!

Stayed for one night while attending an event in Bridlington. Staff were friendly and the room was very clean. Our room was slightly dated in decoration, but the comfy bed made up for it! The stay also included access to lot of extras including the spa and fitness centre, which was a lovely surprise considering the price was so affordable.

A great little find and got a lovely upgrade on arrival (a twin room to two interconnected doubles) Loved the quirkiness, antiques and original features (and my subterranean bath was a real surprise!) Staff all super friendly and just sorry I couldn’t do my breakfast justice, as it was amazing quality and value. We didn’t get a chance to use the spa facilities- so we’re already planning when to come back.

What a brilliant hotel, right in the centre close to lots of bars and indian restaurants. Ignore most of the negative reviews, for the money it's perfect, the full English was outstanding, the staff very helpful, the rooms and the swimming pool, sauna and steam room all spit on. Would definitely stay again, when in Driffield.

We come from Lincoln and had a 4 day break. It is very oldy worldly and so quaint. The floors creak but one would expect that in a 300 year old building. The staff are excellent. Terry

Came across this hotel while looking for somewhere not too expensive for our wedding anniversary and I'm so glad I did.. Absolutely amazing place, if you love antiques and anything quirky then this is for you.. It was like staying in a museum, everywhere you look there was something cool to see and the pool with sauna and steam room was really lovely, with the lady on the reception really friendly and it was just so easy and relaxed. In fact all staff were really nice and friendly and there was just no fuss or issue you were just left to chill. We stayed in room 9 and I loved the vintage decor and furniture, so much better than staying in some boring bog basic hotel with no character and charm... The furniture was awesome and the bed was super compfy. You can not fault the value for money with this place and we will definitely be booking again soon... Just a shame its only for 16yrs+ because our daughter (she's 8) would love this place because there's just so much to explore.. But in hindsight because there was no children it was very relaxing. If you like unusual and something a little different then I would highly recommend, but if you like shiny and new with no personality then I'd stick to your boring premier inns. Even though the decor and furnishings are old it was still very clean and well maintained... 10 out of 10 from us and thank you for a lovely stay.

What a fantastic old, quirky establishment, I loved every minute that I was here, spacious ,warm and cosy room, great bar, and a superb quality breakfast served in a nice breakfast room. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. Lots of old mementoes to be seen dotted around different areas in the hotel, a real interesting experience, highly recommended

Called in for lunch, and we were glad we did. Staff were lovely and helpful and the food was excellent. We had soup of the day and a sandwich. No complaints and we will be back next time we are in town.
