I stayed with you guys last night in room 13. I had not booked prior to arriving so it was pot luck really.
However, the lovely young lady sorted out a room for me and even showed me to it, something that is rare today.
The room was clean and tidy and smartly decorated and very spacious. The bathroom was spotless and trendy and it was a pleasure to stay here.
To top it off breakfast was included and quite possibly the best ever in my opinion. Not a drizzle of fat/oil on my plate. Clearly the young chef takes pride in his food and having a chat with him also a really nice guy.
I would definitely recommend this place and not hesitate to stay again.

Excellent little hotel, great room, great facilities and fantastic food. Had both evening dinner and breakfast in the morning, wonderful menu, great preparation and fantastic presentation....never let your chef leave :-)

We called in here Sunday later afternoon 1st time we have been in since its opened, we ordered of the Sunday lunch menu, must say it was really nice we all enjoyed the meal, The only thing I would say is it wasn't busy and there was a long wait for the food, but to be fair it was worth it when it did arrive, would defo recommend to others :)
Stayed recently for a few days whilst walking in the Wolds. All staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was brilliant especially as I have Coeliac disease and need it gluten free. The bar is lovely and can recommend lovely cocktails and dinner. Hope to visit again jackie & Phil Leeds :)
Room, food and staff were fabulous. The only negative- the breakfast chef was very scruffy, completely creased chefs whites, in shaven, no apron. If you are going to not take care over your appearance, don't come out of the kitchen!
Me and my friend came for a meal tonight with our daughters for there 5th birthday and we had a lovely night the staff were so friendly and fun they really pandered to the girls from bringing them pictures and crayons to colour to humouring them and listening to there funny complaints about things and made the night really special for them, They even put a candle on the pudding and sung happy birthday and then brought a glass of sweets and marshmallows, we didn't feel like we had to keep the girls quiet it felt very family friendly we felt really welcome and had a really fun night.
And Lilly thought cheeky Dominic (or Jeremy as she called him at one point ) was the best food bringer person she's had ever met ��

Gorgeous soundproofed room, heard NOTHING over the two night stay.
The same lady was working on checking in and bar service on the evening and she was really friendly and welcoming.
Breakfast was amazing, hot and freshly cooked.
The whole place was small, friendly quirky yet really homely and welcoming. Would recommend in a heartbeat!
A really quirky place with fun decor, comfortable rooms and a great dinner and breakfast menu. The food was great and beautifully presented We stayed for one night as it was so convenient for Driffield centre and I wish we had stayed longer

Buffet Christmas lunch for 54 Dancercise ladies yesterday was amazing. The food was excellent and the service faultless. We also were able to dance for as long as we wanted. Third time we have been and it just gets better. Thank you to all the staff and a Merry Christmas.

I booked a table for today as it was my daughters birthday.
I was slightly worried because it is Mothering Sunday and usually prices shoot up quality shoots down. We have eaten here before, and had a breakfast each time it has been rather atmosphere less and the service needed a kick up the behind 15 mns for a coffee in an empty room. HOWEVER
Today was exceptional the food was great the service was very good and the price! well £16.00 for 3 courses is very good . We will definitely be back , well done guys at 41
Stayed for 2 nights with my elderly mum at the weekend. Great place and great breakfast. Very handy location for getting to places.staff were great and went out of there way to help . Hoping to go back again soon �
Spent the night here last night. Very good find. Very clean and modern conversion of an older building. Room was very spacious with all mod cons and amazing walk in monsoon shower. We eat in the restaurant, both having varieties of their burgers - both were delicious and presented in a modern way. Comfortable night had by us both and a nice breakfast selection the following morning. Staff all very nice, polite and attentive. Highly recommend a stay at Forty One.
The meal was great, the choices were ample and interesting. The service was friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. An amazing find in the market town called Driffield... Highly recommend.

What a great recommendation from a friend. After not long moving to the area we're still finding our feet in terms of nice places to eat. The staff at Forty One were very welcoming, couldn't fault the service, great cocktails menu and the food was absolutely delicious.
From outside not sure that you want to go in . As soon as you pass through the entrance door, everything changes. The atmosphere and decorations and the ambience it's cosy and welcoming. As you get in, a nice waitress will welcoming you and placing you to your table. Now the food--- awesome. Big consistent portions. I'm a bit upset as I really love mashed potatoes but they don't do it unfortunately. Anyway got a rump stake ( local farm) very fresh and nicely cooked . Nice espresso coffee ( I recommend it as sometimes certain places does a very bitter coffee) . Good place to dine in. Family friendly, clean .

We hadn't been in a while but the food, decoration, service and atmosphere was great.
The decoration is very quirky, there are neon signs, door handles to use as coat hooks, tables with plastic tops and things like knives and forks in designs under them.
It is right in the centre of Driffield and easy to walk to if you live locally or there are lots of carpark or road side parking options close by.
The front door doesn't offer an accessible entrance but there is a side door (where you access the function room) which is level.
Not hugely impressed on the exterior..not very inviting...but once inside.. a great bar/restaurant area..extremely helpful and delightful staff...bedrooms better than expected..and an impressive breakfast..Highly recommended 👌...

Stayed here for one night on the 11th August and was our third visit to Hotel 41. The room was nice enough, but for the price we expected it to have a higher standard of cleanliness. There were lots of areas that needed dusting and I could see obvious signs where dusting had taken place and where it hadn't. Mainly around the bed and floor edges, where dust had accumulated.
The fixtures in the bathroom, the towel rail/shelf specifically was loose and subsequently hung at an angle from the wall. There was no other shelf other than the small one above the sink, so nowhere to store toiletries or a toiletry bag other than on the floor. The shower was fantastic however, very big and the water was nice and hot. The bathroom was very clean too.
The wall mounted TV was wonky so I ended up having to straighten it up. The Sky remote seemed very well used and would only function correctly when pointed at a particular angle, which became pretty frustrating in the end. Whilst tea and coffee facilities were present, trying to fill the kettle from the sink was difficult because of the placement of the tap and the height of the kettle.
The room was exceptionally warm so we had to open the windows which unfortunately meant we had to endure the noise from the pub opposite and the drunken shenanigans of pubgoers at closing time.....along with passing traffic etc. So despite the lovely superking sized bed we ended up having a fairly broken nights sleep. Air conditioning would be a great addition to the room. Other than that we enjoyed the room and nevertheless would stay there again because it's probably the best place to stay in Driffield. We've tried the other hotel 🫤
The evening meal we had was pretty good and a good portion size too. Very filling. The only complaint my wife had was that the flatbread part of her steak flatbread was crispy as opposed to being soft. It was very crispy to the point she had to break it with her fingers rather than cut through it. Which was a shame because everything else was great. The service was excellent too.
The full English breakfast was missing the advertised black pudding ☹️. I love black pudding so it was disappointing not to see it on my plate. The toast was not very well toasted and the whole breakfast could have been hotter. The ingredients were good. Lovely bacon and so was the single sausage. I'd have liked 2 especially given how much they charge for a breakfast as a standalone item. Of course it was included in the cost of our stay though.
All in all we would stay again and would recommend it. We just think a little with more care and attention to detail, it would be a fantastic place to stay rather than above average. Especially given the cost.

The staff here are wonderful, helpful, efficient and friendly. The food is very good too. The four of us had different dishes and we were all very happy with our choices. Need to go back though for the toffee, banana pancakes.
Been having breakfast in driffield for years. Never gone that side of roundabout. Did not know it was there.
In future my first choice for breakfast first class in every area. Love it xx

This is a bogoff place. However you pay full price as a main course is priced very expensive. Quality does not warrant the price.

Hotel room was fabulous, no question in doubt. We had room number 4 with the super king bed and floating bath, it was spotless, welcoming and just great all around.
Sadly, I will have to say, the breakfast was poor, cheap sausages (undercooked), hash browns soggy and undercooked, baked beans cold. This is something they can definitely improve on as this would make the experience a 5 out of 5.
All staff was amazing, super friendly and always wanting to help.

I didn't stay in the hotel but we had a meal there and the seafood platter I had although a starter was enough to feed me and it was easily the best I have had,the calamari was so soft and tasty,no elastic bands here and the prawns were also lovely. My wife had the plain chicken burger and that's exactly she got and also vert tasty. The bar area is very quirky with the old doors and faux letterbox drawers and the mens toilets were impressive in their cleanliness. Great time..
Full English breakfast is better,tastier than most farm shops. The Rooms were excellent.The fresh fruit salad also for breakfast was very fresh and tasty 10/10.
