Excellent fish and chips, I went large, should have stayed with the regular portions.
Atmosphere is 3 Star, its a chippy... you buy your fish and chips, then go home to eat them !

Great quality Chinese food at a decent price.
We live in Driffield but we still travel to this takeaway in Hutton Cranswick for all our fish and chips and Chinese takeaways. I can honestly say it’s the best takeaway I have ever been too!!! Ordered from there about 15 times and every time it’s been amazing whatever we have ordered…I would especially recommend the Kung Po chicken..omg….yum yum yum!!! We have ordered the a Chinese meal for 2 quite a few times and we can NEVER eat it all ….it’s more like a meal for 3 with big appetites! The staff there are so friendly too!! Everything about it 5 ⭐️

Best fish and chips so far
I have tried fish now 3 times and its always been crispy outside fluffy inside, full of flavour fresh fish
Amazed how quickly it cooks and service is always outstanding

Wow - the salt and pepper chips are awesome and mega addictive 😋 At £3.50 they do seem a bit expensive, but they fill me up without needing to eat anything else so I consider them good value!
I've been here a dozen times now and it's the best Chinese takeaway in the Driffield/Beverly area imo.
Their prawn toast is the best around, it is a huge portion with lots of prawn filling. All the dishes are a generous size and always cooked fresh.
The staff are always friendly.
It can get busy around the 6pm time if ordering in advance, so my advice is to go for an earlier or later slot.

Had to update my review after finally getting to try the place and it's awesome.
It is annoying that you have to pay in cash but the food is sooo worth it. The satay sauce is the best we've ever had and everything else we ordered was fab.
Wow!! What a great place, fantastic fish and chips AND superb Chinese food to take away. Reasonable prices, friendly staff and the place is clean enough to eat your food off the floor ( not that you will be doing!!) Can't recommend it highly enough.
We stayed in lodge's near by. Went looking for some food one night and found this Chinese. I couldn't believe how much you got. And the special curry was 1 of the best I've had well done Hutton Cranswick Fisheries

Ordered from their Chinese menu for collection. The food was reasonably priced and available when promised. They made it easy to collect within COVID social distancing guidelines. The meal was made up of generous portions and, most importantly, tasted lovely!
In my opinion, the best takeaway in the area. To say The Best Fish and Chips, falls Very short of what they actually provide by way of food. The best Fish and chips certainly, but the best onion rings, the best chip shop curry, the best food range......where do I stop? Just give them a go if you haven't already. You will not be disappointed.
Super quality haddock, chips & mushy peas. Best to ring ahead and book what time you want to collect. Highly recommended. We were a party of 7 very discerning 70 year old helping 2 ig us to move into a stable conversion in Hutton when we ended a busy day with a veritable feast of top quality from this shop. Highly recommended.
Amazing fish and chips would love to try the Chinese. Always popular and busy. Often pop on way home from visiting family in Hull.
