Wonderful reunion yesterday at Beechwood House, catching up with our friend who emigrated to New Zealand 12 years ago! Perfect venue for such an occasion, the food was great, handy location and a fab afternoon spent amongst friends. Would highly recommend, it’s a gem of a place!
We had 3 special family birthdays in the same week and wanted somewhere special for a family meal to celebrate. Beechwood House met all our requirements, allowing us to celebrate in private in a beautiful setting. Wendy was superb in planning the menu, managing to suit all our fussy eaters, including one vegetarian! We received a warm welcome on arrival and the food was absolutely amazing. I can highly recommend the Beechwood Mess! The whole evening was perfect and I wouldn't hesitate in booking this hidden gem as a venue again. We came for a surprise afternoon tea for my mums 60th birthday on Sunday, what can I say Wendy was brilliant throughout the surprise planning, everything ran smoothly and the setting was stunning, the food was amazing as always and nothing was too much trouble at all which made he whole even so relaxing

We are just back from the most beautiful morning at Beechwood House with Wendy and Di. Wanting a family friendly event and venue for my sister's hen party I, thankfully found Beechwood House. I booked our 15 " hens" in with Wendy for a decopage class and lunch. Our guests were male and female with children too. We were welcomed into Wendy's beautiful home with happy faces and open arm's. Being a mixed group, not knowing each other, the ladies quickly made us a friendly and relaxed atmosphere where we all soon made new friends are precious memories. I really can not express enough how at home we all felt in Wendy's stunning home. The lunch provided was enough to feed an army and genuinely some of the finest quality we've had to date.
All told, you've made Vicky a very happy hen and all her guests are thrilled with their decopage items. You've made us all into artists!! Thank you Wendy and Di, you really have made our day!! 10* service!!!!! Xxxxxxxxx

Excellent venue for learning new crafts. Have already attended a fantastic 5 week flower arranging course with the wonderfully talented Vicki and last night completed a furniture painting course run by Wendy . The setting is absolutely beautiful , the atmosphere friendly , relaxing and enthusiastic and the tutors truly talented. We even get tea and cake during our breaks. Looking forward to attending many more courses .
Fab day relaxing, imformative, gorgeous food! Amazing results from everlong paint transforming a plain chair into a real decorative piece of furniture in my hall. Highly recommended.

Thoroughly enjoyed my Everlong furniture painting course! I have learned fab new skills and have the confidence to be brave with colour and have a go at transforming pieces that I would never had tried! What a lovely feeling, to put new life into old furniture and use it in my home. Only trouble is, I'm now addicted and tempted to paint everything in my house!! Thank you so much Wendy, had a fab time, great fun, learned loads and can't wait for the next stage!!
Spent time at Beechwood using their facilities to interview/recruit staff... a very warm welcome was given and the room was set out for us on arrival. Refreshments were included... as were biscuits and cake!!!! A most wonderful place to spend time in beautiful tranquil surroundings. Since our dad has gone into this lovely care home, he is a changed man. The excellent care he receives is outstanding , the staff are professional, caring to all and we cannot fault the level of care he receives. The home has a lovely atmosphere all the time and we always find our dad smiling and very content and well cared for. The activities are always varied and stimulate him. We are always kept well informed about his care. Thank you to all of you.
Both my mother and father have been in respite for a little over two months. I have to praise staff for keeping me informed of any care concerns which arise, their consistent approach to care and for pushing forward In encouraging my parents to engage with others. They have begun to relax and become comfortable in their surroundings. Nothing is too much trouble and every member of staff has been kind, compassionate and very kind to my family. It is lovely to see my parents smile and relax following a difficult few months. Riverhead will always be a first choice for any future respite care.
Fantastic care home all staff are friendly, caring & helpful. They have entertainment on every day for the residents. They treat the residents as their own family & are well cared for. Any problems or issues they contact you straight away . Wouldn't want my uncle in any other care home
Riverhead Hall is an outstanding care home with wonderful caring staff who go above and beyond to give the residents a good life. My Dad was there and now my Mum is there and we have peace of mind knowing they are in such good hands. Big thank you to all who work there.
Thank you all at Riverhead Hall. Mum and Dad have been with you for 10 weeks now and they are so happy and well looked after. The care you are all giving them is excellent. Mum is constantly singing your praises and we are hugely relieved that they are both being cared for so well and with such obvious affection. Thanks again.
My elderly and much loved relative has been a resident at Riverhead for the past few months. I have nothing but praise for the staff. They have treated her with kindness ,dignity and respect. Her increasing needs have always been met. I get absolute peace of mind knowing how much she appreciates the homely atmosphere and loving care. I cannot recommend Riverhead Hall highly enough.
Absolutely amazing home. All the staff go above and beyond in their care. My Dad was with them and now my Mum n we feel so relieved they are there as we know she will be well looked after. 5 stars from me
The care and compassion by staff is amazing. Also the food is really good. The grounds are lovely and quiet. A really nice home.
