Been here twice to eat, and it's fantastic pub food. The steak pie is awesome and the staff are lovely. There aren't too many places around here that are as good as this.
Lovely traditional country pub! Great homemade food and a cosy atmosphere! Never misses!
A great village pub that serves well conditioned cask beer and a very hearty menu. Would definitely return if I was in the area. The team front of house were very accommodating and the quality of the food was also great. Thanks for having us.
The only place for miles makes it the perfect place to stop for a few. Beware taxis are very limited. Owners were lovely, we didn't stay in the hotel as we were staying a little while away. Thankyou Tracy for your help this morning and for providing me with local
Just visited for a meal, staff friendly and helpful. Good portions at a reasonable price. Locally brewed beers available of good quality.
Great steak and ale pie. Pleasant atmosphere and good beer selection.
We had a lovely meal which was the steamed cod and lovely vegetables. It was a lovely warm and cosy atmosphere where everyone talks to you and are interested in what you say. The Wold Gold beer is recommended as well. We will definitely come again
Always a warm welcome, Wold Top Gold beer as well. Food very good.
Had a pleasant overnight stay here, very nice breakfast.
