A fabulous venue for our family celebration, in one of the private dining rooms. Absolutely delicious food, and all the staff were so friendly and efficient. Thank you for helping make it such a special day.
Stopped for midweek lunch, varied menu, went for lamb rump, with minted pea purée and parmentier potatoes, just perfect.
Not the cheapest but definitely the tastiest and worth it in my book.
Immaculate interesting pub and great service.

We had a really great time
I came here for a meal with my partner and family. We had a lovely meal with plenty to choose from. The staff were very friendly and there is an excellent selection of vegan and vegetarian food too! Looking forward to coming back!
I booked lunch here to celebrate my wife's birthday, and I can report that she was delighted with the food and the surroundings so that put brownie points into my account! The staff are very pleasant and helpful. I will certainly make a return visit. It's well worth the drive.
Lovely Sunday lunch. Staff excellent and a friendly atmosphere
Had dinner here. Very meaty and rich. A vegetarian menu was available but not distributed as standard. The food and hospitality were excellent. £60 a head for 3 courses and a few glasses of wine. I'd go back. Guesses of the calorific content of the meal were between 5000 and 7000 C.
First timer to The Wellington.
First impressions, a quaint local pub however, when your inside it is bigger than what I thought and classier. The menu has unique choices. Not what you would of imagined but very delicious. Starters, mains and pud 😋 are unique in choice. The servers are all smartly

All the staff are friendly and attentive.

We had three courses and it was all delicious - especially the desserts. The only disappointing thing was the cheese souffle which didn't tast
