Have had many a delicious carvery here but as it was a Friday evening we decided to order off the menu .. What a good choice !! We both had the steak pie which I can honestly say was the best pie I’ve ever had in a pub !! The pastry was so light and was crammed full of really succulent beef .. the vegetables & chips were cooked just right and to top it all off , the gravy was off the carvery which is to die for .. so tasty ... I even asked for another little jug full , which the server was more than happy to get ... And all for £11.99 for 2 .. outstanding value .. will be visiting more during the week now as well as a Sunday ... What a shame !!
I went here with my family on Saturday 9th June to have a meal and celebrate my dads 70th birthday.
I couldn’t fault anything the food was lovely and the service was great and the waitress we had was lovely always asking if everything was ok and if she could get us anything else
I can’t remember her name but she looked after us and even helped us about trying pink gin too as we had never tried it before,thank you very much for your help

Red Lion is located at 2 Fakenham Rd, Drayton, Norwich NR8 6PW. Pub style restaurant offers two mains meal at around £16 for two person, food is delicious and more than adequate. Both indoor and outdoor seating area are spacious, suitable for organizing function and parties. Free parking for guests, many parking spaces. Highly recommended.
Good food & service. Food prices are reasonable, however beer was a bit pricey. Nice atmosphere & friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

I'd just like to say my family and myself came in last night for a birthday meal . We was greeted with a nice friendly welcome. Their was 7 of us . We order our drinks and meals of which was served with the same friendly smile and politeness . The food was outstanding and all cooked to protection. Hence to say we all enjoyed our meals and time spent in your pub . Many thanks to the red lion and staff .
The food and service at the Red Lion was fantastic. The menu offers a wide variety of tempting dishes, ranging from traditional to light bites and scrumptious desserts, all at a good price. Gluton free menu options too. Atmosphere was chilled and relaxing. Disabled ♿ friendly toilet but beware of a step up to it .Free car park (register details inside) and garden with smoking area also. Highly recommend that you visit for a enjoyable experience.
We rang the pub very last minute. Luckily they had a table available for the 2 of us.
No trouble parking as there’s a really generous sized carpark. The place had a lovely upbeat atmosphere and the staff were all friendly. Service was quick and the food was really tasty.
We won’t hesitate to go back. Thank you all xx

Great food. Large portions. Reasonable prices. Excellent customer service. You can validate your parking inside by typing in your registration plate.
Wide range of drinks and food. Amazing mojito. definitely recommend their lamb, mussels, Katsu curry with rice. Great taste.
Overall 10 on 10 experience. Definitely recommend and will go again.
Disappointed my booking was not found after calling to pre book previously. Luckily they were not overly busy so we were given a table quickly.
Waitress friendly and attentive drink and food order promptly taken. My order was not as requested no cheese as never have eaten it. Plate was taken back to kitchen and food delivered quickly as per my order.
Both me and my daughters enjoyed our meals desserts ordered and enjoyed. Bill was very reasonable as we are members of the loyalty scheme. All in all a pleasant lunch date for daughter's birthday.
We were made to feel welcome right from the start. One of our party is in a wheelchair and was accommodated with no hesitation. The food was delicious and Crystal who served us was not only professional but personable and super friendly. In fact, all staff were brilliant. Would definitely recommend to all.
