We visit National Trust properties very regularly. We always end up in the tearooms. The food is so lovely and everything is so fresh and well presented. We are members and love to spend money each time in the tearooms as its another way of supporting the Trust for future families to enjoy πŸ™‚
Loved this tea room in the estate, very dog friendly, allowing us to sit in as weather was poor, well laid out with plenty of dog bowls in the yard area, well done national trust castle ward, shame other properties can't follow this great example of how to be dog friendly.

Set in the court yard with the book shop, gift shop & toilets, I loved it here, after walking round the site this is a lovely little haven. You can eat indoor or out. Visited here whilst camping, decent coffee but no seating or tables due to Covid. I feel this should be looked at for customers needing a rest as where the case after walking. Also good for other needs too!
