Had breakfast twice and dinner here once both when we were staying in the hotel. Food was delicious and portion sizes generous, great value for money. Staff friendly and helpful.
Was shown a tour by the bar tender and they were so kind and open to give us the history of the building, including the fireplace from 1642! Seafood chowder and burger were delicious to go with it.
I went out for a meal with my cousins to Denvers hotel in Downpatrick. Staff were very friendly & helpful. They showed us to the dining room & asked us if we would like a drink. Then, they brought us our meal which had been pre-ordered. Denver’s hotel is situated in English Street in Downpatrick & there’s a car park just off English Street. I think you have to phone to book a table for your meal. The food is excellent & the hotel also has some history behind it as well. Stephen Acton.
Great food very fresh and tasty. Rooms okay but had a flight of stairs bit difficult for hubby.
Staff are efficient and friendly. Food is excellent and there is a great atmosphere in what is a historic building which has retained its character.
Sunday roast, Pint of Guinness. Live Irish band. What's not to like. Great Craic

A lovely evening in Denvirs for dinner and drinks. Beautifully served food by Ursula and Mary in the restaurant with a friendly service and excellent product knowledge for wine and steak and salmon...both were great, melt in your mouth with delicious green side vegetables and crispy potatoes. William, from bar staff, served the wine and most wonderful Irish coffees with great, but short, conversation and humour. William is a highlight of Denvirs...be sure to ask for him at the bar, he has the strongest, surest and gentlest handshake of Welcome. A lovely time in Denver's had by all. Will see Ursula, Mary, and especially, William again 🤩
We had a fantastic time here on our most recent trip. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. And the food was absolutely top notch as always.
Went for dinner with friends, menu good, food very good. Nice atmosphere, staff brilliant
Historic bar. Very atmospheric. Staff very friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Made us cod and chips even though these weren't on menu. Very reasonably priced. Only complaint was fish a bit boney and still had some skin on which I dont really like. Delicious though.
Had a great lunch today reasonably priced. Only negative thing one of the staff chewing gum the whole time he was talking and serving! What has happened to the service industry??

We enjoyed a dinner meal in the separate restaurant. Mine was a matured sirloin steak and hers was duck a l'orange (with an excellent sauce). Meals were to a very good standard. Wine selection could be better. And the piped bar music doesn't suit the white cloth service.
Never seen denvirs so empty . Young singer who was really good and not too many there to listen
Lovely wee restaurant with a good menu, friendly attentive staff and great food. Would recommend. We had the garlic bread, pate, pork and peppered chicken - all of which were lovely.
