Had the carvery here the beef and Turkey was to die for realy nice the beef just melted and gravy was amazing realy meaty would recommend any carvery fan to visit this place realy good value.
Delicious food, great drinks menu, wonderful service and most of all great value for money, would highly recommend to all. X
We visited this evening and I had the most amazing Chicken Jalfrezi Pie (from the meals from £5 menu) and my other half enjoyed his Classic Beef Burger (also from the same menu). It's the only place where our two young boys will clear their plate and get a pudding too!! (Never stop selling mini waffles with the kids meals!!!)

Just had our first Christmas dinner out at the RockRose, the food was fantastic, the serving staff were also brilliant, nothing was too much trouble, would definitely like to come again, merry Christmas and thank you for making ours special x

First Time we've been here and we were not disappointed! A request to change seats was granted no problem, staff were attentive but not over powering which was wonderful too! Clean and tidy, staff cleared tables swifty. We loved the fact that there is space between you and other guests, no backing my chair into someone or squeezing past!! The food was delicious, we went for the carvery, which was good value for money and so tasty! Thank you Rock Rose, we shall return!
Myself and my family came here for my 40th birthday last night and I can't fault the service , the food . The main people I'd like to thank especially is Kate and Lewis who served us at the bar . They was exceptionally good people and went above and beyond. They are a good representative for your company . Thank you for your kind caring compassion on my special day . These are the staff you definitely need to keep . They gave us a free drink and as a thank you we bought them a drink for after there shift . We will definitely return again .
Went for the carvery, have loved it for years. Unfortunately the peas are now minted, the red cabbage is now mixed with cranberry, and there's something about the roast potatoes that made us think they may be fried now.. It's a shame as most of our party didn't like the changes. That said, the beef was the best I'd had for ages!
Since it has changed hands I think this is the best food we have had here. Been here twice now this year and would definitely come back. Food is fantastic and they will help out with any food requirements if you want to change something. Staff are helpful and welcoming.
First time visit with my partner. We turned up over an hour early in the hope of eating sooner and staff were happy to change our reservation for us. We both enjoyed a delicious carvery meal in a nice quiet area, as requested. Tables and floor were nice and clean and staff were really friendly. We’ll definitely be back.
Service was really good and food was superb. I was glad we were seated away from children. When I go out for a meal I like the peacefulness where we can hear eachother talk. Not trying to hear yourself over screaming children.
Wonderful, friendly, patient, accommodating staff. Excellent menu to cover various diets and needs. Super spacious environment. The children enjoyed the play area too. We were a large party and food arrived together, hot and accurate. Thank you. A very pleasant meal enjoyed by all.
We booked a table for my husband’s birthday because we had received vouchers for Christmas, so possibly wouldn’t have come otherwise. The food was excellent, I was very impressed with the carvery- everything was cooked to perfection. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the disabled facilities were excellent. It went a bit quiet later on, as groups of people left the area we were in, which we found a little disconcerting as we then felt quite exposed. Overall it was an excellent experience and we will definitely go back.
Lovely friendly atmosphere, the staff and management are brilliant! Very accommodating and the food it's amazing value for money. We love visiting and always have a great time with family or friends. The carvery is definitely the best around!!!!

Came for last minute meal for 2 adults and 2 children as our usual spot was full and we're glad we came. Kids had a wonder time playing in the kids corner and the garden whilst waiting for our food. Ordered 2 carvery, and 2 meals from the kids menu. Wrong kids meals turned up but quickly resolved (table next to us ordered the same meals, except we had mash instead of chips) no drama neither party was mad. Would love to see a refillable drink option as nearly £4 for one Pepsi seemed steep to us. All food was lovely and was given a container to take remains home. Service was exceptional from start to finish. Thanks for a good visit and will visit again!

The wife, daughter and I popped in with no booking on Thursday evening, the place was very busy but a lovely young lass had us seated very quickly and explained there might be a wait for food due to there being limited staff on shift.
Steak, Leek Pie and Mac N Cheese order, food arrived about 30 minutes later and was fantastic.
All three of us very happy, staff very busy but very friendly and approachable - we will happily be returning ASAP.
We were a large party of 15, the staff were very accommodating and friendly, our food arrived together and hot. We particularly appreciated that the high chairs were within the grouping and not just at the ends of the tables. We all had a lovely time, thank you
We was on dinner with service users.
I asked about the table in quite place and then give us table in separate room. The service user was calm and we can enjoyed the dinner. Stuff was lovely special 2 ladies and big man probably manager.

Went for the first time today with my hubby and the children. The food was lovely and served quickly. The staff were lovely and our waitress was lovely and very sweet with the kids. Will definitely go again, the kids all enjoyed there food as did me and my husband. Will have the carvery next time as it smelled lovely
Good food - service was a bit hit and miss. It was a slow night but it took ages to clear our table. In the end I asked for someone to clear it. Other than that a good experience and great value for money.
Family friendly chain pub. Varied menu of pub food, allergy friendly menus, toddler play area. Order and pay at the bar. Unfortunately not dog friendly inside despite saying dog friendly on the website
